I just have to ask all our Texans, "How the hell did the man get elected?!" Because Rick Perry is wily, smart, and lucky, ruthless, effective, and not incidentally represents the views of the majority of Texans, most of whom are people of good will if a tad on the conservative side. Texas has never had a liberal governor (Ann Richards would not have been considered a liberal outside of Texas) and has a deeply conservative culture deeply rooted in historical factors far beyond the scope of Adamtopia. Seems to me if we get into the many complex political cultures of the 50 U.S. states and why various jackass politicians are elected therein, many people will feel bad and we will not have time to talk about Adam. Not trying to shut it down, just my 2 cents. I agree 100%. I follow politics and I follow Adam, but I don't want to follow politics here...just Adam.

Awww, sooo pretty!!! We all need a little drenching, Adam. Some literally, others figuratively. Been a looong, HOT summer (and NOT the good kind ) for many. I think we'd all rather be berting than discussing natural disasters, depressing politics and more waiting ... waiting ... waiting ... Hope after he and Sauli get a little rest and a few long, hot showers, they'll indulge us in a scoop or two about Burning Man and what's on the horizon. (Please ...)

He's never tooted his own horn.

This was in Arizona; however, it says he supported, not that he was there. outdoorsgaycamp.com/This will give us something to chew on for the next 20 pages or so. Was Sauli exhausted from the heat and biking at BM or from canoeing (and canoodling) at OUTdoor Gay Çamp. Were they building fires in the desert or in the woods? Were they watching the Trojan Horse burn or perhaps some marshmallows on a stick? Maybe we’ll find out from Sauli tomorrow or just as likely, never find out. Fun, fun, fun. This is the only place that conjecture is as much fun as fact - sometimes more so. So much for my theory. Adam’s tweet answers the question
