Looks like the vast majority of tickets left to sell for Vegas are the cheaper ones..$90-$125. You have to pay that much or more for any of the Cirque shows, etc. Hopefully folks in town will pick up those last minute. I wonder if there is any possibility that they might extend a few more shows after the 22nd since they are in town, all set up and the theater is available for another 2 weeks....especially if tics wind up selling well. Maybe their contract is set in stone....was just wondering. The gross per show isn't going to be nearly as much as the arena shows because of only 5,200 seats. Maybe casinos don't actually make a lot on the shows but want the folks in the casinos. I may be wrong but these are not ticket sale events, these shows will be a guaranteed contracted fee. My guess $1 mill per show. The casinos don't make any money on these residencies -- they are an expense. They are a way to make a casino a destination. My guess is >$1 million/show -- just based on what other artists have made.
And generally they don't want "locals" at these shows.
