Talon, thank you so much for the wonderful news! Very, very exciting!
also this means today’s show is not only special because of FM birthday but also all the press! (Perhaps this explains the ticket mystery from last night, may be they had to accommodate more peeps than had been planed...just speculating)
Im praying we have a scope! I know we’ll have an excellent audio, dancy is there!

I love this interview. Adam gives very thoughtful, insightful, and honest answers including this one: "Some people feel that in order to be the most successful and the most popular, you have to be palatable. And that’s just not me." I love that interview as well. But this is the part of Adam's interview that gets to me. It reminds me of what RuPaul said once. That he was an entertainer but his sexuality was not for entertainment as it was his life or something like that. "When I entered the public eye [on American Idol in 2009] and I was " on display" so to speak, that was the first time I really experienced any sort of real homophobia." On a different note. I am so happy with all the publicity that Adam is getting (especially in the US) with Queen or interviews on his own. I think (hope) it will benefit him greatly when he releases some new and different type of music with Queen influences and real instruments (his words) in the US. Shaking things up with a new direction could be a good thing for him.

No idea how to post a picture from my phone so posted my own tweet😀 Have a wonderful time - am so envious! I saw the C du S show Ka (shown in your pic) at the MGM Grand in 2009. Best show I've ever seen. But surely it hasn't been running all this time?

AnnAdoresAdam......I saw the KA Circue show in 2013 when I was there for the IHeart Festival. My first and only cirque show and I was blown away. My son and I sat on the front row and it was awesome. Appears it's still running at the MGM Grand. We decided to see the Michael Jackson show this trip on the 20th. Would be fun to see the Absinthe show I think....not so sure about Zumanity...lol
4EverAdam......Hope you have a blast tonite!!!

I would love for Adam to do Jail House Rock in Vegas. It would be a good change up to throw in for HH sometimes during their Vegas shows.
Oh....I would love this one too! It's actually more apropos for Queen. My fingers are crossed that one Elvis tune remains until the last show.

Sounds like KA may have been running the whole time then. I knew it would have to run for quite a while since the whole theatre was built to accommodate it. We were in the front row, too. Cost a fortune but was so worth it. I was just looking at our photo against the KA backdrop. Don't suppose they still do that thing of taking your pic to buy now that cell phone cameras are so good. Saw C du S Ovo at the Newcastle Arena (first time back since QAL) on Sunday but the Vegas experience has spoiled me for all others. Obviously no way a touring show can compete with a purpose built stage set, even though it was still pretty good. If I were going to Vegas I'd be doing just the same as them and going to shows on my days off. Have a fab time and looking forward to your detailed recap

Maybe I missed it . . why were the videos from this youtube producer taken down and put back up with titles that don't describe what they are? Complaint about permission to post or ???
Edit: On the right side . . "up next". . not one video is Adam or QAL. Three are Freddie and the rest are totally unrelated
Let's just be grateful that he found a way to re-upload and hopefully, nobody forces him to take them down. If you click on his name, so that you end up at his youtube channel, there you will find them named C002, C003, etc....and I am sure the remaining ones will show up, as they get processed.
Yes, the links between them are lost for now, the ability to search is presently very limited. Maybe, once the residence in Vegas is over, things will be less strict. Let's just wait til it is over and see what happens then. I just wish he had tagged Adam Lambert as well, that part is not nice, imo.
Meanwhile, I have a very different nugget and slightly educational piece for you, that I found quite interesting, and so there may be some who find it interesting too. The problem is, it is not in English, but I was able to follow along pretty well with very limited Spanish skills, because the lady is so expressive in the way she talks and gesticulates.
Basically, this is a vocal coach, who picked a small section of 'Somebody to Love', and has a student with her and she practices that one phrase or riff with him, by first letting him try just by hearing it, and then by taking it apart, playing it on an instructional piano, so you see the notes she is playing, and then slowly lets him put it together to sound like a riff again. The interesting part for me is, that at the end, the student is each time out of air after the riff and has therefore trouble singing the last note with a strong and supported voice. Adam would have about 30 seconds more air left, if he sang that instead. You can actually see that this guy does have a much more shallow breathing that is not supported that well, and so he has trouble doing the whole riff, even though he can sing ever part of it just fine in the end, and he is certainly an experienced singer.
So, if that kind of stuff interests you, or you just could use a practice session on your long forgotten Spanish, here is the video:
