QAL Sep 5th HQ audio downloads!Below are direct Mega download links for my Sep 5th HQ full show audio in MP3 format. The "Original" version has not been edited except for converting WAV to MP3 format. The original audio has a rather low overall volume with loud spikes due to the clapping of the person next to me. In the "Louder" version, I have applied something called a "Limiter" which allows the overall audio volume to be increased while reducing the volume of the clapping spikes. This might possibly reduce the quality of the audio, but this should only happen at the points where the clapping happens. I'd appreciate any feedback on the audio. In particular, if the audio quality of the "Louder" version in any place or way does not sound nmas good as the "Original" version, please let me know! Please let me know if you like "Louder-01" or "Louder-02" better! Louder-02:tinyurl.com/ybdxmhok

Lorraine....Thanks so much for your recap. I love all the details. So Primrose is pricey and the steak house was good. I never drink Whiskey Sours....but I might try one...lol. I'm so glad Sophie B was able to help you with your Row D seat. I'll be sitting in that same place on the 19th....looks like Adam comes over to that jutout several times, including first thing and during TSMGO and several other times. You were about as close as you can get there. The Primrose was much cheaper than Bavette! Salmon was $29 at Primrose and $39 at Bavette. Primrose was decent for breakfast but the dinner had 4 entrees to choose from. I got the salmon for $29 that came with a couple baby veggies. Checked the Bavette menu for the next night and steaks were over $50 with some around $80, so we cancelled our reservation. Instead we made dinner out of the VIP reception - there was plenty to eat there. The VIP reception also had a "Killer Queen" cocktail which was actually a whiskey sour and it was delicious. Those are the only 2 restaurants in Park MGM right now, but Aria is 10 minutes walk inside a connected hallway and they have tons of restaurants - we're going there Saturday. You are right, didilynn. I should have been more clear about the restaurant prices. The reason I responded as I did, was because we had a very light lunch at the Primrose { we shared a tuna sandwich, some salads and ,iced teas} and it came to over 100 dollars! The bavette restaurant was very pricey,as you said, but we didn't want to eat a heavy dinner there ---too much pre concert excitement!---so we asked our server if we could order appetizers rather than entrees and she accommodated us nicely, providing us with crab cakes, steak tar tar {not for me!},mashed potatoes,{my granddaughters favorite,} and a huge wedge salad .It was served communal style and the portions were very generous. It also included a bread basket which,my daughter agreed was one of the best she's ever had. Along with those scumptious whiskey sours, the meal came to 140 dollars which I felt was reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the size of the servings. Wow! I'm getting hungry just thinking about that lovely meal! You're welcome to all who enjoyed my recap. I'm happy to share that special time with all of you.

This is OT but so telling how easy some with power can try to ruin or slow walk a career over something not so important (she didn't beat up or hurt anyone) while giving others with the same or worse offence a total pass. www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/les-moonves-janet-jackson-career_us_5b919b8ce4b0511db3e0a269Exclusive: Les Moonves Was Obsessed With Ruining Janet Jackson’s Career, Sources Say After the “wardrobe malfunction” at the 2004 Super Bowl, sources say, the CBS chief executive was incensed at the singer. Moonves ordered Viacom properties VH1 and MTV, and all Viacom-owned radio stations, to stop playing Jackson’s songs and music videos. The move had a huge impact on sales of her album “Damita Jo,” which was released in March 2004, just a month after the Super Bowl.

Ah, guess we should have skipped Primrose and gone to Bavette for appetizers and salad! Your meal sounds like it was quite satisfying for the price, I didn’t care for mine at Primrose. In any case, as your recap proved, the best part of the night was after dinner anyway, I was lucky enough to sit in row D one of my shows and it was mind blowingly awesome! Thank you for your recap

lorraine, I really enjoyed your recap (as posted on page 6). Loved this part: "... On the first night,a couple from Massachusetts asked me if I had seen Adam perform before. It was their first Queen concert and hubby was there rather reluctantly because his wife wanted to see Adam. When I said that I had seen Adam solo and with Queen several times,he asked me,"Why do you have to see him singing twice?" I asked him if he followed any sports team and he said he loved baseball. "Why do you have to keep going back to baseball games? " He was a little taken back,as he said "That's the best answer I've ever heard to my question. Following the concert, he turned to me and said," You're right. That man is phenomenal. His wife had tears in her eyes and kept shaking her head." Thank you!

There were merchandise tables on each of the 3 levels, they were open when the doors opened, but we barely had time to purchase before the show. There is also a regular retail store just outside the venue (to the left of the entrance doors to the theater) that had Queen merchandise (as well as some others) and it was open after the show, but I didn't notice if it was open before the show. Maybe someone else can check that out before the next show and post here what they find out. Officially the merchandise store outside of the venue in the casino opens at 4:30 on show days. However, it was open even earlier than that on Wed, about 2 pm. There was no crowd at that time. However, they do not have all of the t-shirts that the merchandise counters have in the theater. In particular, they do not have the t-shirt with Adam's picture on front. There are merchandise counters on both the 1st and 2nd floors in the theater (I did not go to the 3rd floor, so can't say what's there). The 1st floor one is bigger. Thank you both for the information, it is greatly appreciated. Sounds like I’m better off going inside:)
