I was at Foxwoods also. That was the first time I had ever felt that thing that goes on between an audience and an entertainer. My skin was sizzling the whole concert. The audience stood for the whole thing and screamed throughout. The more hyper the audience became the better Adam danced and sang. It was one of the best nights of my life. When I think about it, I still get goosebumps. Oh, I know what you mean. I had the same goosebumps experience in Foxwood. Especially during Soaked.

what the?????? tom cruise? really? even if it's supposed to be campy and funny, this sounds like a bad joke. but i've never seen the show so i have no idea what i'm talking about really. this is what IMDB has listed: www.imdb.com/title/tt1336608/fullcredits#castDirected by Adam Shankman Writing credits Chris D'Arienzo (screenplay) Michael Arndt Chris D'Arienzo musical book Allan Loeb screenplay Cast Anne Hathaway ... (rumored) Tom Cruise ... Stacee Jaxx Russell Brand ... Lonnie (rumored) Gwyneth Paltrow Alec Baldwin ... Dennis Taylor Swift ... Sherrie (rumored) Mary J. Blige ... Justice Charlier mys*&@^#r - what role would simon/adam play? if tom is the aging musician, is there a featured role for a young guy too? I wonder if this is yet another fake entry in IMDB. For the last one Adam tweeted it was false. Proceed with caution. The movie is for real. I also hate Tom Cruise. I avoid any movie starring Tom Cruise ever since they cast him as Lestat in "Interview with a Vampire". IMO, that was just the worst piece of casting and he was horrible in the movie. Casting Tom Cruise in a movie as a rock singer again seems like bad casting. It would also appeat that they are not attempting to cast any singers in this musical. Taylor Swift? Rock? That being said, Tom Cruise, was good in Tropic Thunder. When I went to see the movie, I didn't know he was going to be in it. Of course, his role was a parody and I was laughing at him.

Damn!! Now I need to go see this play and see which part would be perfect for Adam! Anyone know??? (Can't imagine Simon Curtis and Adam Lambert being up for the same part, though. :-/ ) According to Entertainment Weekly, Tom Cruise is close to a deal to play rocker Stacee Jaxx in the big-screen adaptation of the Broadway musical "Rock of Ages" Feb 25, 2011.

Yes! And basically the whole play, ROA, is a campy parody of the dying hair musicians on Sunset Strip during the late 80s!
ETA: Sorry! I rarely lose it like this, but IMO, all the pieces fit. Adam's long hair, Simon's tweet, and a non-lead role in a movie musical. (I don't see going back to Broadway, and being in a movie musical as anywhere near the same.) And, since it takes place in CA, it will probably all be shot in the LA area.

Because he's not? Simon Curtis is just twitter flirting with Adam like he always does. This leaping to conclusions because of stuff on twitter is getting old. This isn't a Tweet from a fan or some crazy like the guy earlier in the day who has some Music Video planned for Not Adam Lambert. This is a tweet from someone who is auditioning for a part. IMO, it's not the same. One more thought, before I get shot down again. Could this be why Adam grew his hair and had the enxtensions? I doubt all the principles are auditioning on the same day. Yes I'm well aware of that. Simon takes pretty much any opportunity possible to tweet Adam compliments, I don't think this is anything more than him saying that he thinks Adam would be perfect for the role. It really seems like your wishful thinking is reading more into the tweet than is there.

This is hilarious. Simon Curtis muses that the role is perfect for Adam and this is actually taken as evidence that Adam is auditioning based soley on the fact that Simon Curtis knows Adam??? What???? I don't think Simon was doing anything other than what we do when we say we'd love to hear Adam cover some song. Nothing in that tweet indicated that Adam was actually auditioning just that he'd be perfect for the role. It amazes me how far people jump looking for stuff to talk about. How many times did we hear Glee rumors from the actual principles of Glee only to be told by Adam that nothing has been offered to him and he has not been approached. I mean its one thing to say yeah this is a cool idea he'd sure be right for it, but to take it as evidence that he actually auditioned is pushing things way beyond the reality of what's been stated. Sorry mys*&@^#r50 please don't think I'm harping on you specifically its just coming right on the heels of the craig's list thing it just seems everybody is going a bit nuts today.

When I saw Gwyneth's name on that list I was surprised that Adam made fun of Gwyneth Paltrow. Bad performance or not at the Grammy's, she is quite connected in Hollywood. Her family is personal friends with Spielberg and has spent plenty of time at his South Hampton estate.

LOL Srsly though...don't get ahead of yourself lol. It would be a fun little detour but as of now I don't see that dude's tweet as anything more than name dropping and Adam's glamweave as anything but a questionable fashion choice. I mean he did wear a leather poncho soooo....lol I'd be happy to be wrong but...yeah. Not getting all excited prematurely. LOL.
