Pyro_Batz Staci by GlamRockGodUK If you're new to CDwow you can get @adamlambert's Glamnation DVD for $12.49 with new user voucher. bit.ly/eKlyD9 RT please. I contacted Amazon to see if they will price match, they sent me a $7.00 off coupon in my account. How much had you paid to pre-order the CD from Amazon? I just looked at my order and I paid 15.36 with free shipping. Also, how did you contact them? Iz a tard and don't see that button to push. :-/

Adam has said publicly that he is interested in acting in a movie or on TV. It is quite a different gig than appearing nightly in a Broadway play. I am not familiar with that musical, but I see no reason why Adam could not fit that in to his schedule if it was not a starring role taking months to complete. I would love to see him on the big screen.
As for Tom Cruise, I have enjoyed his acting in several of his movies. His personality off-screen, meh. Don't know much, and don't care. But IF Adam were to have a supporting role in a Tom Cruise movie he would get a lot of cred from a new audience. Tom is quite a draw.
Finally, it doesn't matter if Tom Cruise can't sing a lick. Hollywood has been casting non-singers in musicals forever. Sometimes they just enhance the vocals, sometimes they dub someone else's voice in. If Val Kilmer can sing a leading role in a stage musical, Tom Cruise can impersonate an aging rocker in a movie.
I don't read the tweet as anything more than saying Adam would be PERFECT for the movie role. But, I have to think that Adam Shankman has at least played with the idea of some role for Adam Lambert. It is too obvious a connection to not consider.

On second thought...I don't think I would want Adam in a movie with Tom or anywhere next to Tom for fear that he would work his voodoo magic on him and somehow convert him into his cult...erm, I mean his religion of Scientology!! Aye dios mio! LOL. Then again maybe Adam would convince Tom to embrace his truth and we could have epic CRUISEBERT! OMG, CM, the places your mind goes!! ADOMMY II: RETURN OF THE TOMMYKNOCKERS!! I'm scrolling quickly, but must say any even slight hint of Adam possibly potentially maybe someday being in a movie THRILLS me! ...as you were! ETA: Murly used *meh* today, as did Cassie right above me--it reminded me of something I saw on twitter--sorry if already posted...but MEH is a very useful word! ¡ mehxclamation point: ¡ (from FakeAPStylebook) Example: Tom Cruies, meh¡ (Which, btw, is not how I feel, as Magnolia and Jerry McGuire are just two of his movies I really liked. Liked that Samurai one, too.)

Cassie, when I read what you wrote, I cannot help but think of the movie Rock Star. Mark Wahlberg played the lead, but it was not him actually singing. Anyone remember that movie? Totally cheesy about an 80s rock band, but I loved it! :D So, no matter if Adam is in this movie with Tom Cruise, I am 99% sure they will get someone to sing for Tom.

So true, Cassie and file under "ridiculous" but sometimes producers even do the opposite. Like cast Fantasia in the role of Mahalia Jackson and then issuing a press release that says Fantasia will be lip synching to all of Mahaila's original recordings! WTF???? ???
