Cheers Aloha you are indeed living in Paradise !!!!...Hawaii now seventh state to legalize civil unions[/color] Less than a year after seeing the push for civil unions vetoed, gay rights advocates cheered as Gov. Neil Abercrombie signed into law a bill legalizing civil unions and making Hawaii the seventh state to grant such privileges to same-sex couples.
Abercrombie signed the legislation at a ceremony today at historic Washington Place.
"E Komo Mai: It means all are welcome," Abercrombie said in remarks before signing the bill into law. "This signing today of this measure says to all of the world that they are welcome. That everyone is a brother or sister here in paradise."

Thank you, everyone. It's so wonderful that I can come here, share the good news, and know you all understand how important it is.
We share so many things, including this belief in equality for all. And this is one reason why I know Adam has the best fans in the world.

Just catching up and got sidetracked by the T-shirt design. So fun, but, I think a T-shirt with the pic of the New Years Eve concert on the front and the pic of awesome tush on the back would be cool. Some of my favorite shirts came from Hawaii, Aloha will be able to help me with this I am sure. There is a designer from Hawaii, Kliban, and the designs on the T-shirts were almost always front & back. I used to have several of them purchased while visiting the islands, they are so cute. Adam front and back on a T-shirt would be a win/win for me! Have you moved to your new home? Oh no, not yet, we are just starting the process, getting our home ready for sale and starting the looking process. First look is this weekend. I wish it was over and we were packed. I am hoping our house sells for the price we want and we find the right house for the right price in the right area with the right high school for our son. That's our reason for moving - schools. If we could send our son to a private school we wouldn't move. Where we live you must be educationally elite - my son struggles, being adopted from a foreign country, ADHD with some processing problems. We retired and moved to SC to raise our two adopted kids. We realized we had a huge job on our hands which required our full attention. It's been a hard road, but rewarding. Our daughter is a junior at Clemson, so now it's for our son. Wishing you the very best both on the selling and purchasing. Arizona is not where you want to be living right now regarding real estate, here you would probably need to rent your home and not sell for the price they are going for. We are in the bottom four states for real estate foreclosures and falling equity. Very sad. I will keep sending positive thoughts your way. I do remember buying all of our homes with the priority of which school district and then narrow it down to which school in the district in mind. We have stayed in our last home because of the 1/2 acre lot, now our two dogs dictate where we live. :
