Hi guys, RL has eaten me up, so I haven't been here much, but found the threads from Sat, Sunday, and Tues very facinating! I get such an education here. Welcome to all the new peeps here, so glad you delurked! This time last year I was a lurker too! Does anyone know if Adam will go to the Finland awards show? Nobody knows, but sheer speculation that he might and mix it in with working with Max Martin in Sweden.

Thanks, Zinnia for the translation. Google is sooo ??? ??? This is a tad ridic, IMO (but yes, some oddsmakers will make bets about anything), but it totally reminds me of the "an out celebrity isn't out unless he announces it on the cover of a national magazine" meme. You really would think that being seen together arm-in-arm and vacationing together would be enough, but no, he must tweet: ~Sauli is my BF? Seems a little eighth grade to me, but it is so cute how fascinated the Finnish press is with it. But is it that different for straight celebrities who are dating? It seems like they get hounded too until they attend a function as a couple or finally spell it out in an interview. The betting makes me LOL, but honestly I think this is an awesome case of Adam and his "alleged" new boyfriend being treated like everyone else. Yeah, it's totally the same. I was actually thinking of the Mariah/Nick Cannon and Beyonce/Jay-Z marriages when I was writing that. And that's good that he's being treated no differently than other celebrities, but your really do see how WTF it is. Like why do celebs have to "define" their relationships? They're together and seemingly having fun. But like with anyone, relationships are hard enough to define when it's just you and the other person trying to understanding exactly where you are. Add in the entire world media and that's a hella lotta pressure.

The Craig's list ad for dancers for an Adam Lambert video sounds all kinds of bogus to me. Way too far off to be booking personnel. The calls for IIHY vid went out less than a week before the shoot, didn't they? Nobody does a legitimate casting call on Craig's List. That's not where legitimate performers look for work. While it would be great if Adam had a single for release in June, it is doubtful at this stage of recording Album #2 that he/they would have a recording of it already and have decided this is the first single. Why Louisiana? It would have to be tied to the theme of the song in some way, and, again, I doubt the song has been chosen yet, much less the theme for the video. The guy's credentials don't sound even close to the level of professionalism and legitimacy I expect from Adam's collaborators.
Sounds like a scam to me.

I'm sorry but I think you guys are getting all freaked out for nothing more than some local performer setting up to do an Adam Lambert song. I doubt it has anything to do with Adam.

OK guys, this is funny. I was at my physical therapy session this morning and when I was lying on the table I was sort of daydreaming a bit (trying to ignore the discomfort) when someone said the name.... SAULI (or something darn close)!! I swear, my eyes popped out of my head and my therapist asked if what she did hurt too much! LOL I composed myself and told her that I was just thinking about things I had to do today and realized I had almost forgotten something sort of important, which was a big fat lie, but it was the first thing that came to my mind! Yikes.
Gotta go for now and get ready to head into Houston for a lunch date with hubby. Back this afternoon!

That was my take too. It said "song," not video. The guy might be making a student film/vid for his reel or something. I wouldn't say "no casting is done through Craigslist," it's a very efficient way to get out word for cattle calls and extras, in particular. The old school casting circulars that the actors used to cull through back in the day were far less efficient than Craigslist. The problem is you have to get through so much BS to find something legit. But you had to do that with the casting rags too.

It's very misleading, though. I would think that any aspiring young dancer would assume they're going to be working with Adam. Why mention his name at all in the ad? Just say "need dancers for music video" or whatever it is. Bringing in Adam's name is sure to get some hopes up for a high-profile professional project when all it is (presumably) is a low-budget local gig.

I was also there and the acoustics in that theatre were the best I've heard in all the shows I went to (a mere 6.) But visually, I'd have to put Club Nokia as second. The Purple Haze and WLL combo was pretty much the most perfect way possible to end Glam Nation and he laid it all out there that night. I'd put Club Nokia ahead of even Cologne because I think the vocal, in LA, was better.

devenlane I GOT YOUR SAUSAGE I uploaded a YouTube video -- TVLine Idoloonies clip of Adam Lambert Feb 22, 2011 youtu.be/xQPjYOf6OYM?a28 minutes ago devenlane | February 22, 2011 is there ever going to be another ...... Oops, catching up and spamming, sorry! Someone brought this up on Twitter last night (might have been Susie) but have you all, who are Idol fans, noticed that the judges and/or press never makes comparisons to contestants by saying, "The next David Cook" or "The next Kris Allen" or "The next Lee DeWyze?" The only people I ever hear them compare to are Kelly Clarkson or Adam Lambert. It's like those 2 are the "gold standard" for them!
