Actually....this is another of those "only in America" things....here in Canada we can only get netflix on line....and there are a lot of offerings that are only available in 'hard copy' format....this must be one of them as I went to netflix to check and I can't get it. I have friends that are forever sending me netflix suggestions which I can rarely get......which is why I know this bit of trivia....I actually called them and complained about it.... You would love the experts, mszue, because they make a strong correlation between homophobia and anti-feminine biases. Damn, wish there was a way for you to see this. I do too1!! We have a really good documentary film festival on the island and this is just the kind of thing they would show [along with envirionmental and sustainability issues] so I will try to put a bug in someone's ear.....darn...I just saw someone on the filmfest committe at the pride parade this am but I am sure I will see her again. Because of the fairly large gay population on the island and the liberal nature of most residents, a fair selection of film choices focus on gender issues of all sorts. This looks like such a perfect fit. I am just not always as patient as I shoud be!

Saw this on twitter earlier today. Something to watch in a slooow day. This is from Let's Dance Slovakia. There's a same sex couple and they are dancing rumba.
Viktor Horjan a Marek Vrána - LET´S DANCE 2011 - Rumba (9.9.2011)
I like this dance a lot, there's some "traditional" rumba feeling in it, but the male dancers have made this dance to look like them. I would like to understand what they are saying in this YT.

A slow Saturday gives me a chance to try this: We have been talking a little about anime - I'm not very familiar with it, but you're right - it can be set to some gorgeous music. Six days ago, just before the Temple Burn, a piece known as "Gymnopedie #1" by Erik Satie was played. I am not the only one who finds this melody to be one of the most beautiful and haunting I've ever heard. It's been set to an 'anime' - or, at least to some sort of floating animation. Since I don't know the first thing about embedding, I've copied down the youtube address - I hope you will watch and listen and love. And I hope I copied it right. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rdk6P2ts3H4&feature=relatedIt's called "The Most Beautiful Song in the World" momtomany

I posted this last night, but I think it got lost as it was way off topic. But if you haven't watched this documentary, I highly recommend it. It will "arm" you for discussions or even for mobilization against fundamentalists that use the bible against gays. t.co/jQMefClThank you. I watched this today on youtube and really appreciated it.
