Someone copied just the Adam parts and I can't find the link. I think it's probably at AWop and I've been seaching, but then I thought that someone here might have it. I want to add the recaps to the AI 8 thread. Also, I think it was terra that did a download. Still need to go back and watch the vids of the Most Beautiful Song In the World. Justgill, yes, he did those off the cuff. Idol bloggers/recappers have a very strict deadline. They watch the show and have to have a full recap up within hours. Their analyses are usually their immediate perceptions of the show. They record it and go back for confirmation of certain things, like song titles, actual quotes, etc. But I don't think they watch too closely on second view. They transcribe their feelings in the moment. But they DO blow it sometimes. For instance, you're right, Jacob missed the mark entirely about Adam's second singing of "Satisfaction"; the two versions are very different. I'm sure Jacob didn't bother to go back and check and in the grand scheme of the full show, why would he? At that point in time, he was reporting his impressions of three hours of TV and they had 36 finalists to get through. With that one (and others), he was off. But man, he did nail A LOT of things. His Rock Week recap is worth the price of admission, for sure. It's hysterical (and dead on). [The fact that in season 10 he squeed over Durbin and thought him "beautiful" ??? ??? hasn't totally discredited him in my eyes, but damn, it did come close ...] ETA: OMG, that puzzle pic!!  |

Saw this on twitter earlier today. Something to watch in a slooow day. This is from Let's Dance Slovakia. There's a same sex couple and they are dancing rumba. Viktor Horjan a Marek Vrána - LET´S DANCE 2011 - Rumba (9.9.2011) I like this dance a lot, there's some "traditional" rumba feeling in it, but the male dancers have made this dance to look like them. I would like to understand what they are saying in this YT. And...this song was written by BC Jean, the writer Adam was working with. This is one of my favorite Beyonce songs. |
