However, that led to certain phrases—like "Justin Bieber" or "Adam Lambert"—just sitting on the trending topics list for days on end, even if there was no new news about those people. As a result, Twitter changed its trending topics algorithm in May 2010 so that topics hit the trends list "when the volume of tweets about that topic at a given moment dramatically increases." Well maybe but there is an account spelled the way Adam and Terrence spelled it but it is a locked account that only follows 23 people. |

For anyone who streams Netflix- I watched a very interesting documentary last night titled "The Adonis Factor" that explored body image issues, self esteem, and notions of what body types are seen as most attractive within the gay community. Besides being interesting in its own right, there were a lot of interviews with WeHo party boys, so of course I extrapolated that they were/could have been friends/acquaintances of Adams. It was a very interesting show- I knew there was pressure to look good, but the level of pressure and angst expressed by the interviewees did surprise me.
