Is Brian having the post-concert blues? I don't understand his instagram. Not sure he does either...truly. There are so many mixed emotions flooding in after a project that has culminated from tour to residency to finally over! My view is that Adam provides creative input but the behind the scene work falls to the bosses of the brand Queen. The shows may be over but work still continues, and it may take months. The thrill of the performance followed by the nitty gritty. The bi-polar --- the ups and downs, of band life. Now after time away fitting and slidng back into another life style and family. Brian and Roger have a huge and much more intense role in the tours and shows...think of all the business side and logistics of this tour. People are are hired to manage each part of the puzzle, but in the end major decisions/ problems etc fall or defer to these two. Payment decisions, unexpected problems, staff problems, payroll/ negotiations with Theatre, --payroll to managers, security/staff/admin team/sound company, --stage design set up and down/tech teams and storage, transportation rented and owned materials etc etc. He is entitled to feel mixed up....it is hard to pin point our emtions and needs in words.

Is Brian having the post-concert blues? I don't understand his instagram. I don't know if that's exactly it; He mentioned Smells Like Teen Spirit, so he's probably thinking "entertain us". I guess the Vegas audience is different than others in that people don't come from all over especially to see Queen because of their admiration for the band - they're already there and looking for a good pasttime for that night. So they buy tickets, sit back, and expect to be entertained. Brian may not have felt the collective experience he's used to with the audience, but more like a monkey in a circus, and that's what might have left him feeling angry. That said, I wasn't there, so I really don't know. I may be totally off. I never thought of that perspective ....food for thought. I had no clue what Smells like Teen Spirit even remotely " meant" ....hmmm is it a reference to the Nirvana song

I never thought of that perspective ....food for thought. I had no clue what Smells like Teen Spirit even remotely " meant" ....hmmm That makes sense. The lyrics are interesting: With the lights out, it's less dangerous Here we are now, entertain us I feel stupid and contagious Here we are now, entertain us A mulatto, an albino, a mosquito, my libido Yeah, hey I'm worse at what I do best And for this gift I feel blessed Our little group has always been And always will until the end My guess is that Vegas has a lot more rules than some of the other venues around the world and they have to conform to some degree. That may be a small part of it.

Do any of my glamberts have tinnitus. What do you know about it, if anything. Is there anything a person can do? I have had it for years, irish...for me it is primarily from years of nsaids for my rheumatoid arthritis. I have just become used to it for the most part...try and cut down on pain killers when I can and substitute external ones where viable. It is just the way I hear now...but I am sure it is different for everyone. I forget about it often...for example...I can really hear it right now as we are talking of it, but a few minutes ago I was unaware of its presence... Frankly...it is better than dealing with constant nasty pain...always worse in the changing seasons of Spring and Fall. Not much help I know....sorry...if you find something, let me know Sept 23, 2018 12:50:04 GMT -4 irish1139 said: Do any of my glamberts have tinnitus. What do you know about it, if anything. It gets louder if I have a fever or just don't feel good. A really loud concert makes it worse for a couple of days. If it's really loud, and it interferes with your life, there are some treatments for it I believe. Ask your doctor about it.

As glorious as LV was for fans, I can imagine it was less than great for Brian. He is accustomed to an arena filled with staunch, passionate, devoted Queen fans who know every note, every word, every riff, every gesture of every song in their repertoire. They are eager to be swept away and to participate fully.
The LV audience was not that. Queen and Adam won them over and impressed the hell out of many. But, it was not, could not be the participatory celebration Brian is used to. They don't know Love of My Life, so cannot help sing it. They don't know the tradition of claps for Gaga and WWRY. They don't know to shout "Ready Freddie" during CLTCL. They are used to Vegas shows where they sit back and let the entertainers do all the heavy lifting, the impressing.
It could be that Brian felt he had to work too hard to win over the audience night after night. He may have missed the energy buzz he usually gets from audience adulation and participation. The band was ultra-successful, but perhaps Brian is wondering if it was worth the time and energy. He doesn't need the money. He doesn't need to impress or convince people. He may even wonder if Queen's time has passed. We know that Brian can turn down some dark hallways.
I hope I am completely off base in my pondering. Hope Brian quickly gets back his equilibrium and wants to continue performing. PLEEEEZ.

I remember that Brian had to ask for the "lights" to come on from the audience during Love of My Life, as there were only a handful at the beginning.
I know it was easier for me to stay in one place and see multiple shows.
