Celebrity Iggy Azalea Cancels Second Tour in Three Years: 'The Choice Was Out of My Hands' People Maria Pasquini,People 6 hours ago Looks like Iggy Azalea won’t be going on tour after all.
Confirming that her upcoming “Bad Girls Tour” — which was scheduled to kick off Oct. 27 in Hollywood, Florida — had been canceled, the 28-year-old “Kream” rapper addressed the disappointing news on Twitter.
“Believe me – I was really excited for this tour…and I’m genuinely disappointed it can’t happen this year,” she wrote on Sunday.
“The choice was out of my hands and not my call to make,” she continued, before sharing a kind word to all of her fans. “I hope I will get to see you all in person one day. I love you.”
Assuring her fans that she’s staying positive in light of the setback, she added in a separate tweet, “All I can do is keep pushing, keep recording and keep a smile on my face.”

While the majority of the shows for the 21-city tour have been called off, four remaining tour dates have yet to be listed as canceled on both Live Nation’s and Ticketmaster’s websites.
According to a note on Ticketmaster’s website, all purchases made on a mobile device or online will automatically be canceled and refunded.
Iggy Azalea Earlier this month, fellow rapper CupcakKe, who was originally scheduled to be Azalea’s opening act, announced that due to “a change of plans,” she would not be appearing on the tour.
She went on to claim that the reason she pulled out of the tour stemmed from the fact that she “went from getting paid 330K on this tour to 30K.”
“THIS WAS NOT IGGY THAT CHANGED PLANS !!!!! It was the ones that put it together !!!!!” she added.

Three years earlier, the rapper announced the cancellation of her “Great Escape” tour, explaining that the decision stemmed from a need to take a break and regroup.
“I’ve had a different creative change of heart. I want to start totally anew, and if I stayed on my tour, that would mean I wouldn’t even be able to start working on that until after Christmas,” she told Seventeen in June 2015. “On top of that, mentally, to be honest with you, I just feel I deserve a break. I’ve been going non-stop for the past two years, nearly every single day.”
“I’m not in a bad place,” she continued. “I think sometimes when you say you need a mental break, people are like, ‘A mental break? Be sure you don’t have a breakdown because you’re sad.’ No, not necessarily. It’s very emotionally draining to be on all the time and going all the time, planning all the time. It’s a lot, and it’s tough. I need a break from everything to just enjoy what I worked so hard for, and I don’t really feel like I’ve had a chance to do that. I need a break to figure out what I want my sound to progress to, and I need a break to figure out how I want my visuals to progress.”

Iggy Azalea, photo by Philip Cosores Iggy Azalea has canceled her upcoming B”ad Girls Tour” for, as was confirmed to Page Six, “unforeseen circumstances.” The 21-city, five-week tour was slated to kick off on October 27th in Hollywood, Florida.
Azalea also confirmed the news on Twitter, saying she’s “genuinely disappointed it cant happen this year.” She added that “the choice was out of my hands and not my call to make.” The tour’s planned opener, Chicago rapper CupcakKe, made similar sentiments, emphasizing that “THIS WAS NOT IGGY THAT CHANGED PLANS.” She also wrote that she “went from getting paid 330K on this tour to 30K,” which is telling in and of itself.
Live Nation has confirmed that refunds are available at the point of purchase.
Azalea’s last release was the Survive the Summer EP, which arrived in early August after several delays. Alex Galbraith Iggy Azalea Cancels North American Tour Alex Galbraith Alex Galbraith Sun, Oct 7 6:06 PM EDT Iggy Azalea's first North American tour in four years has been canceled. Shortly after tour-opener CupcakKe dropped out of Azalea's upcoming Bad Girls Tour, the rapper shared that the whole thing was being called off.
Azalea told her fans on Twitter that the decision was made for her, after Live Nation shared news of the cancellation with Variety. She said that she hopes to be able to make the dates up at some unspecified future date.
"Believe me - I was really excited for this tour... and I'm genuinely disappointed it cant happen this year," she wrote. The choice was out of my hands and not my call to make. I hope I will get to see you all in person one day."
Azalea said that she was going to use the unexpected downtime to keep working on new music.
"All I can do is keep pushing, keep recording and keep a smile on my face," she said.
CupcakKe shared details of what went wrong on her end, backing up Iggy's story that the problems with the tour didn't come from the New Classic rapper.
"Listen y'all, I went from getting paid 330k on this tour to 30k that's what I mean by 'change plans,'" she wrote on Twitter. "THIS WAS NOT IGGY THAT CHANGED PLANS! It was the ones that put it together! Iggy knows I love her. I just need that bag IN FULL."
Azalea's last North American tour met a similar fate. All the way back in 2015, she was meant to tour with the support of Nick Jonas and Tinashe. A change in scheduling forced both of those openers out and Azalea had trouble finding replacements.
“I began the search, and to be honest, I never found someone who was available on those dates that I thought was a good fit for the tour,” Azalea told Seventeen at the time.
In this case, the unknowns around the tour lead to a lack of promotion.
"As we were not able to fill the support slots on the tour in the fall, due to so many artists already having commitments and working this summer, we had not advertised or promoted the new shows since last winter,” AEG Live Senior VP Debra Rathwell explained in an interview with Billboard.
Fans who purchased tickets for this most recent trek, which was meant to run from October 27 to Dec. 4 with stops in 21 cities, can get refunds from their point of purchase.

So, it's safe to assume that Iggy's tour simply did not sell enough tickets. I wonder what size venues she has performed in? Too bad about the opening acts puling out. Hey, it's all a big competitive puzzle. Adam rarely has an opening act. He did when I saw him in Chicago. But usually it's just him. I sure hope he tours with A4. It's a jungle out there.

Well, at least Rami is getting great reviews. I never knew that the rest of Queen resented Freddie. Maybe that was early on. Regardless, I'm still excited to see the movie. Agree. The quote "Rami Malek sure nails that imitation, tho." is a good thing, I hope. That is what you want him to do in a movie about Freddie's life. The more he makes you see him as Freddie the better. Unlike what one would want from Adam as the Queen frontman. Adam needs and does nail the music but he is definitely Adam Lambert (in all his hotness) up on that stage. Has it been confirmed that Adam is NOT in this film, even in a tiny background role? Do we know for sure? I intend to see it. I've seen the promos a few times in the theater, and it looks really good. Rami looks perfect for the part.

Isn't that the formula for a great one? Either you hate it or you love it? Entertainment Weekly @ew Mixed Bohemian Rhapsody reactions praise Rami Malek's Freddie Mercury as 'fantastic' share.ew.com/ubF0rU0Just amazing how some loved it and thought it was a great rock movie and some thought it was just OK. Praise for Rami is well deserved. He did go all in. I don't get how they can say the other Queen members resented Freddie. Where the hell did that come from? Haven't seen the film yet obviously but if there was a scene where that was said or implied didn't mean that's the way it was forever. Good Lord! I saw previews of the movie when I went to see A Star Is Born on Sunday, which was great by the way and BR looks fantastic on the big screen! ![](http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/Other%20Smileys/Bananeyessss.gif)

I don’t think we know one way or another... all we have is the old pic in costume...I’m thinking he was just one of the crowd...I highly doubt he had a real (speaking) role...we’ll see very soon....

Not a bad idea for Katy to go from selling music to selling shoes. Jessica Simpson did it and she's a billionaire now. I saw the first ads for Katy's shoe line on QVC today. They're really promoting her shoes and she'll be live on the shows.
