 for the listening party. I'm just relieved to finally know for sure whether to expect Adam's album this year or not. (It was the uncertainty that was most trying for me.) I'm disappointed that he's missing holiday sales and buzz and that I won't get to hear new music as soon as I would like, but things were looking pretty tight for a November release, so in a way I'm kinda glad that the rollout won't be rushed. They can do it up right! Maybe now that Adam has the same management as Katy Perry he's going the KP route and releasing two tracks before the album drops? And I'm sooo excited about the new single! (It also means we still have TV appearances and interviews to look forward to before the end of the year.) And I can't wait to hear the ballad he wrote with Sia! ETA: Oh, I just realized that Sia's song didn't make the record. :  How did you realize that Sia's song didn't make the record? Next month (ish) = maybe October? Early 2012 = January? February? March? April? And he says by the end of next week all the songs will be finished, but there will still be maybe FIVE MONTHS OR MORE before the album is released? Well, if that's the case, why is there any need for him to rush through "finishing" the songs in the next week? They really need 4-5 months to add backing tracks and do other production stuff?  |

 Oh boy, oh boy. Today's the day gee golly that Adam releases his album. I woke up bright and early just to get it at my local walmart. adamlambert Adam Lambert Sorry guys looks like the album will have to be pushed back to Fall of 2012. It'll be worth the wait  |

I dunno - maybe since she tweeted "pitch" the song which means find a use for it? For another artist perhaps? At first I was thinking "pitch" as in to movie, TV or something but guess it could also mean pitch to another artist? ETA: guess this was answered - so she does want to pitch it to another artist! If they know what songs made the album already, WHY OH WHY will it take so long to get it?????? Waaaaaa!!!! |

I'm with you, BB!! Not even going to lie, I'm crushed and baffled by this. It's obvious they know the track listing, so why the wait?? I think it has to do w new mgmt rollout plan, and btw, I dont buy the "he's not Katy Perry" line. Until Era 2, Katy Perry wasn't Katy Perry. She had been through a couple different labels and had two good singles off first album. It was strategy and positioning that made her second album so successful. and even it stalled expectationwise out of the gate. It is better to know than not know, but I'm depressed as fuck by this news. I'll cope, and yay single next month (ish - ugh!), but it's going to take some processing...
