Whenever I am tempted to be influenced by those who are critical of Adam, and as I read all the opinions of so many on the blogs as to how Adam and his managemant SHOULD be running his career ( in the cut-throat music business, of which none of us know what really goes on behind the scenes) I remind myself of the generous and heart-rendering interview he gave to Out magazine, and one of his last poignant comments. To paraphrase: "There's a lot going on, and I'm doing the fucking best I can". I agree with Xenia. The pressure on Adam must be enormous, he is still a new artist, and has accomplished so much in the past 2.5 years it is stunning! Yeah, everyone should chill. Let our boy run his own career. Nuff said. I'm moving to Alberta so I can be your friend. I love the "Let our boy run his own career." Yay for you.

Hahahaha! Cookie!! That baby gif is hilarious!! You gif/photo peeps are so talented!
...you'll all be pleased to know that I'm feeling rather zen now too. A smash single is the most important thing to me right now...and I've convinced myself that the strategy might be to release a couple of singles before the album. If that works - I'M GOOD! ;D
(oh and I tried to watch the tea-party debate - you wanna see me REALLY angst?!! LOL!)

I'm over the album and/or single hoopla. I kept asking myself why I was upset and it is simply due to my impatience. I also realized that more important to me would be if Adam and Sauli fell apart, or if anything happened to Adam and he couldn't follow his dream. Those are two things I couldn't get over in a day. That is the kind of stuff that would really throw me for a loop. A 2012 album is nothing. It's just a little bump in the road. Adam is having the time of his life, and I am so grateful he is happier than I have ever known him to be. I am content. I can wait for his music. Yes, yes to your thoughts. It seems too simplistic, but I don't see Adam failing because of a few months' delay. With no knowledge of the music industry, that is based on my opinion only. The fact that he is happy, creating music, and living his life is more important to me than a time table. We have all verbalized at one time or another how much FUN it is following Adam. Part of the reason is the enthusiasm he has for LIFE, not just his career. I agree with whoever said he would not allow his lovelife to negatively impact his career, so I think there are simply circumstances the fans are not aware of that have caused the delay. I appreciate the variety of opinions, but not the hostility and finger pointing. I think I want everyone to be happy and get back to flailing about the good stuff. Going now to wallow in the shallows and find Adam reasons to smile

Nope. The lolly bucket is in mourning. It might feel better tomorrow. Awww I hope the lolly bucket isn't in mourning very long.. If the lolly bucket is only giving out lolly's that are black can I have blackberry flavour? Sure! Blackberry's fine. Actually, since I hate licorice with the force of a thousand plagues (or so), blackberry works much better for me too!! :D [fishes out a blackberry lollipop; feeling more cheerful]

Actually, I think today's lolly flavor should be "BLACKBERRY MOURNING", cause while some individual berries/lollies can be so astringently tart that they cause a shudder reaction (aka, the reaction one got when first opening up today's ATOP thread), others can be juicily sweet. Its just a bit of a roller coaster ride figuring out which lolly yer gonna get at any moment in time!! ;D (Although, as you resignedly go down the bucket over time, they do tend to sweeten up. The ones at the very bottom have sugary red centers. You just have to finish with the tart ones to get there. :D

1. We are addicts 2. The substance we abuse is not ready yet, it is still being prepared but we perceive it as being withheld from us for no good reason 3. We feel the effects of withdrawal = feeling sick 4. We come here to share our pain 5. Some recover and start helping others 6. Eventually small potions become ready and our addiction is satisfied for a short while 7. But as all respectable addicts we want more..and more...and more... 8. RL does not seem that important any more...only the substance that we crave... 9. ...which eventually gets ready for mass distribution and we get satiated...for a short while.. 10...because as all respectable addicts we want more..and more...and more...

Yes Nica I am addicted to Adam and his music.. I stand before you all and admit my addiction.. So for those like me I offer The Serenity Prayer. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; Courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time. I sure do hope this helps me and all who find themselves in a similiar state of missing their drug of choice.. ADAM
