Adam mention begins @6:08. Although the reviews so far have been mixed, I predict that this film will do well simply because people love Queen's big hits and know them well. Rami is getting positive reviews, so he MAY wind up with an Oscar nom. If Rami and/or the film get an Oscar nom, I hope Adam will be able to attend the Oscars and maybe even get a quick walk on the red carpet and a little interview. After all, he IS Queen's front man. I know I'm jumping the gun a bit, but I can't help it. I can't wait to see this movie. I always knew Queen, but only the biggest hits. I love knowing them so much more now due to QAL. Adam is the gift that keeps on giving.

huffpostqueer @huffpostqueer LGBTQ youth remain disproportionately affected by bullying, which is why #SpiritDay matters more than ever. huffp.st/YTgK7KlEllen DeGeneres, Adam Lambert And More Go Purple For Spirit DayBarbra Streisand, Britney Spears and other celebs shared their support for LGBTQ youth, too. Hollywood stars and advocacy groups alike helped turn social media into a sea of purple Thursday in support of LGBTQ youth. The occasion, of course, was Spirit Day (Oct. 18). Now in its eighth year, Spirit Day was first observed in 2010 in response to a spate of queer youth suicides, including that of New Jersey teen Tyler Clementi. Since then, GLAAD has called on celebs, activists and media personalities to share photographs of themselves wearing purple clothing to both honor victims of suicide and show visible support for LGBTQ youth during National Bullying Prevention Month in October. Ellen DeGeneres was among the A-list stars to express her support, sharing an animated, emoji-style image of herself on Twitter. Also chiming in was Adam Lambert ... twitter.com/YourTeenFriends/status/1053029376093290497

Would have liked to have seen...whatever fans donated Adam would match....say to a max 5000.00. Or now the 8000.00 A matching challenge would have been cool, it always adds a bit of fun and competition to the endeavor. Coming along nicely and as more people retweet, share on FB and IG the donations should continue to pick up a bit of steam. I see Justin Tranter hosted the GLAAD event again last night, sounds like a good turnout and lots of money raised. “Superstar songwriter and GLAAD board member Justin Tranter flexed their power in the music industry on Wednesday night (Oct. 17) with Beyond, a Spirit Day concert benefiting GLAAD at Sayer’s Club in Hollywood, Calif. Not only did the showcase highlight the queer artists behind hits from the likes of Tyga, Offset, Maren Morris and Zedd, but the event raised over $400,000 for GLAAD’s anti-bullying campaign. Two of the night's biggest donors were Nick Jonas and Imagine Dragons lead singer Dan Reynolds, who each pledged $50,000 to the organization.” www.billboard.com/articles/news/pride/8480569/nick-jonas-dan-reynolds-donate-glaad

I saw "Beautiful Boy" today, and I am still in recovery mode. Timothy Chalamet is a shockingly good actor and the movie topic is an important one. I hope it gets major recognition, and I hope that Hollywood (as well as the music industry) will broaden their view on masculinity.
