I agree....I have been a fan of Adam since his days on Idol, but lately I have become much less interested checking in only a couple of times a week. I think it's a combination of no new music and how he presents himself whenever I see him on tv or a video of a live event. I thought he looked silly on the Wicked special dressed in a suit with a ripped knee, he is no teenager and that style has run it's course. I thought all of the other performers looked appropriate for the occasion.
Adam is such a good looking man and like it or not that is part of his appeal, but lately he seems he is going out of his way to make himself less attractive. JMO but I hate the heavy beard, never have liked the tatoos and the long hair hanging on his forehead and down the side of his face is the straw that broke the camel's back for me. He's beginning to look like a mountain man dressed in Gucci. I don't know why he insists on making himself unattractive.
Since there is no new music and I don't find this current look even remotely attractive to look at there is really no reason for me to follow him. I'm out.
I’m still hanging on by a thread cause I like the long messy hair but the rest of it I totally understand and agree with. I’m not convinced he is near as satisfied and happy with his current situation as many would have you believe. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ceecee, I totally understand how you can feel that way. Adam's solo career has really been on hiatus for quite a while due to Queen. And the A4 hold-up is a mystery. As to his looks, he does change it up all the time, unlike most guys. The ripped knee on the Wicked special didn't bother me. As for the rest, I guess I feel that I am not following him for any one particular reason. I love the guy for lots of reasons. And most of us feel we've gotten to know him over the past nine-plus years. To me,it's not just about the music. I'm just following a life that I am interested in and have learned a lot from. And he's still very attractive to me, long hair or no long hair. For some singers, I'm content with just finding out when their next tour is coming to town. I don't care about any details about them. But not with Adam. With him, it's the whole person.

I accept and appreciate Adam anyway he chooses to look and wants to do as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. And he is definitely not hurting anyone. AFL is multidimensional...and I love that about him. He keeps me interested and excited to what lies ahead on his journey. Adam is never boring. I am glad all the critiquing of every aspect of his being by others doesn't stop him to do and be exactly what he wants.
I am seeing BR tonight and I am so excited!! I am embracing my love for the band, their amazing music, and the story they have to share with us about themselves and Freddie whose brilliance was taking way to soon. And as I watch their story unfold on the screen I will feel proud that, even though Adam is not a part of the time in Queen's history explored in the movie, Adam will have his place in the history of this amazing band called QUEEN!

I just noticed that Adam's BhRhap outfit on the red carpet has the colors of the movie poster pic in the background........matchy. I was just catching up on last nite's AHS Apocolypse episode and after each commercial there was a satan graphic with red wings...similar to the ones Adam had on. We know he watches the show and that graphic has been on every episode this season...wonder if he might have gotten inspiration from that. I know Adam loves Halloween....really loves it. I mostly tolerate it. Hopefully things will get back in a groove when we know about a new label and get new solo music. I'm sure he's frustrated as well.

I don't care for the heavy beard either (on anyone really) but I think Adam is still a very attractive man. I want his solo music as well. But there are probably things holding it up that have nothing to do with him touring with Queen and he is just unable to say that. Whatever the reason, I am glad that Queen was and is there for him and I hope it works itself out soon. From the little he has talked about his new music, he seems to have the dance/club phase out of his system and will deliver something deeper, different and exciting. Tho, he has had deeper and more meaningful music he co-wrote on all his albums but seems only fans got to hear it. I just want things to continue to work out for him and I will support whatever he comes up with.

I’ll be happy when Halloween goes away, ick. I agree....I have been a fan of Adam since his days on Idol, but lately I have become much less interested checking in only a couple of times a week. I understand that Adam's changing looks and occasional "appearances" may be too much to handle for some of us including you, to a point of seeking distance, and no new music news are probably more discouraging for some than others. I don't love everything he does either, but I have come to realize for myself that as long as I am an invested fan I simply have to embrace the complexity of his being, including some "WTF" moments. Occasional "down moments" for me so far have gotten heavily balanced out by mind blowing appearances when he totally "delivers", and whenever he does just that he simply leaves me wanting and craving more. The recent "Wicked" performance is a great example - I was blown away and totally captivated - and even though I couldn't overlook the ripped knee for that special TV appearance either, I just forgot about it after the stunning performance. What really threw me off this morning was "the finger" that he gave yesterday as part of his devilish Halloween demeanor. I think for Adam there is more to lose than to gain when stuff like that gets posted. Does he care? Not sure. He obviously doesn't care at the moment, but may be in the long run? About his current look ... I think Adam likes the change and I don't find it unattractive at all, but I do wonder occasionally what he may be going through. I am a firm believer in his solo career and I am patiently waiting for his new music.

It seems like Adam's management is getting him a lot of opportunities, more than the previous one, and it also seems they encourage him to intensify his social profile. I thought it was done in anticipation for the new music, but if he's really 'shopping' for a label, it could also help, to have a stronger social profile. I'm glad he went to Heidi's party, showed himself on the red carpet and got some press, and I'm glad he then hopped to another party, maybe more to his liking.

He's too interesting to me, and I can't wait for the new music.
