I love this post, joky, and I do agree. Adam seems to be positioning himself as a multimedia artist and maybe that was the original strategy when he decided to change management. He needed a team that could work media across all platforms and develop his brand across multiple disciplines. *tosses out to universe* #manifestation SusieFierce: Would you mind posting what you posted on Twitter yesterday concerning the RCA/management situation? I saw it posted somewhere else and it is one of the best possible explanations I've seen on this whole situation! I will try to find it in my history. I was TOTALLY spitballing (as we all are), but it came from a different conversation that I was continuing. Since Twitter does seem to be down (my Echofon hasn't updated for about 30 minutes) *gasp* *sob* I can probably find it in my computer's history. One of my followers asked if she could c/p to AWOP; I said I guess so ... ETA: Hmm, I can't get it out of History, because it only saves pages I've gone to, so when I pull up that page, it's blank. I will have to wait until Twitter comes back online to dig it up. Thanks though!!

SusieFierce your twitlonger was amazing IMO and I was wondering why you didn't post it here. As I understood just now from you ,it had to do with a conversation you had on twitter. Still, it's great. :D

Good afternoon! Crispie have a very happy and fun birthday! Sorry your iPod was stolen and you lost all your music. RabbitRabbit really enjoyed your Dad's message to you. Seashell sorry to hear about your computer crash. Willowgarden that has to be one of the sweetest vids I've seen lately. What a cute couple! And LOL when the man burped and said "Excuse me!" I had a good laugh watching that vid! ;D And, Miachihu thanks for the lovely description of Christmas in Finland. Sounds wonderful! So excited that Adam will be on another Fashion Show. He will definitely be visible while we wait for the album. I'm thinking he will probably go on Leno and Ellen to promote the single. And probably on more shows. At least...I HOPE we'll get to see his gorgeous face on the TV! 8-)

Otherwise, I'll have to wait until Twitter rises from the ashes.

I will have to wait until Twitter comes back online to dig it up. Thanks though!! www.twitlonger.com/show/d2jiim@susie Fierce ( SusieFierce) And in light of recent events (RCA pushing back yet another artist's release date and having no one slated for Black Friday still) only adds to my feeling AND THIS IS A BIG DIFFERENCE that RCA being fucked up across the board does NOT equal Adam being bussed. He is one of multiple artists that are in turmoil and I actually think he is one who is not just sitting there as his life is being moved around like a peg on a calendar, he's finding ways to counteract it (leaving 19 in July/August to go to DMG). I may be sensitive to that claim that someone is being bussed because I read it incessantly from KA stans right after idol until the point that I wanted to scream at them and say, "God, you make him sound pathetic. He's not a victim!" And it turned me off from KA, who I didn't really have a problem with and that largely became a self-fulfilling prophesy, though KA got every bit of the winner's promo he was entitled too, etc. His problem was that he would always be in Adam's shadow. But I never worried for a minute about Adam because I know he knows how to be proactive in his own career. We have to remember, Adam is privy to every bit of information we are in addition to gossip from people inside the industry and the company. He's probably worked closely with employees who were fired or knew who was going to be promoted. He knows A&R people, producers, executives, former executives, assistants, etc. He had to know all summer long that this upheaval was happening and it would likely be coming to a head right when he was going to need his team in place most. So, he went out and made a savvy, gutsy, proactive move that MIGHT help insure that he wasn't going to be yet another artist tossed about in this maelstrom of (lack of) organization. To me, that is the antithesis of being bussed. He put his team in place to make sure he was covered no matter what happened. I also don't "blame" him at all for what seems like the album not being done. He said it would be done in October, before he released a single, and by his tweets yesterday, that is exactly when it's going to be done. Therefore, he's been on his original timeline all along. Would he have been pushed back like the collective roster has been? Entirely possible, likely probable, but I just can't get behind the meme that HE is being singled out. They're universally fucked up right now. And if, in August or July, he was getting a sense this shit was all going to go down – OR – if he just knew damn well 19 was no longer capable of meeting his needs, he decided to make a change. I truly believe that change is a major power move on his part to ensure everything he's worked for wouldn't end up collateral damage in this major upheaval. And now that I see what a mess they are, if he had released on the timeline we were all hoping for, it's entirely possible that, even if it was the greatest fucking album evah – that it would be lost in the fallout of all this. So far from blaming him, I actually credit him for having the balls and foresight to see the writing on the wall and do whatever he could to take matters into his own hands. Will there still be issues? Yes, RCA is a hot fucking mess, that doesn't seem like it's going to resolve next week, but I have to say I'm glad he's not releasing in all of this if it's as bad as it appears to us right now.
