I think most celebs sometimes wonder if people are around because of who they are and what they can do for them. But it seemed part of Freddie's loneliness was he still had to hide who he was from the public and the adoring fans. Those moments were sad but it did not make me think of Adam at all. Freddie's friends and bandmates were getting married and having families of their own. Thankfully, gay artists can do that too now, if they want that and it is important to them. But even Josh Groban has talked about loneliness/depression on the road and he has been touring with the same group for twenty years. A good support system is great. But hopefully artists will try to find a balance in their touring and personal lives and most won't fall apart if friends/family move on with their lives or careers and are not around as much as they once were. All true. Just to add: It‘s a film. It took a lot af artistically license. Freddie didn’t move into that big house until much later. And I think, he never lived there alone, but always with 1-3 friends. For all I know, Freddie wasn’t one to be lonely too long. 😉 He had friends and family. And never walked as far away from them (and the band) as pictured in the film. That happened to create some drama. The backstories with the cats were real. They were his children. In an interview he had been asked, if he wanted children. Freddie answered: „I would rather have another cat.“ (He did like children though and really spoiled his godson.) Great points!

In an interview he had been asked, if he wanted children. Freddie answered: „I would rather have another cat.“ (He did like children though and really spoiled his godson.) Who was Freddie's godson? The son of Queen‘s producer in Munich, Reinhold Mack. His son was named after Freddie: Frederik/Freddie Mack, and he must have been 9-10 years old, when Freddie died (= about Adam‘s age). He started his own band. So after there had always been a few pictures of them together, now there is also this interview. He tells his story with Freddie and you can see a few pictures, that’s why I posted the link. I didn’t find him that likable. Could be the translation though. Just for your info: Godson means in German Patenonkel. Something like Goduncle. That’s why every child over here calls his godfather „uncle“. catonthewall.net/being-little-freddie-freddie-mack-on-being-the-godson-of-historys-greatest-frontman/to add: By surfing through the net, I found out, that Freddie was also the godfather of Mary Austin‘s oldest son Richard. He was still very young, when Freddie died. Another add: This video turned up on Twitter, it’s not about Adam, but just listen to the lyrics! Fun with Queen in the recording studio. ![HaHaSmiliey](http://i770.photobucket.com/albums/xx348/Quu3/Adam%20Smilys/Other%20Smileys/haha.gif) And also fitting: This must have been in Munich with Reinhold Mack shaking his head at the mixing desk. twitter.com/brianmayniac/status/1063979527024635905?s=21

And another issue with the film that I didn't mention, Freddie had a TON of fun in his life. He wasn't sitting in the big house lighting lamps and pining away for Mary all the time. He lived it up to the fullest. Was he lonely at times? I'm sure he was, as much as anyone else. But he was a funny man (how many times has Brian said that) and the script didn't allow for Rami to show that side of him. Munich he did get into some bad scenes and more into drugs and that seemed to be the only focus. So when critics say they felt the queer life was imbalanced, I think this is a lot of what they are saying, not that they wanted gay porn. Never in a million years do i think he said to Mary "how could you?" when she got pregnant. And of course the time is all wrong in the film for her having children, since we never get past 1985. There are videos on youtube of Freddie with her son, his godson.

I had remembered Adam following him on IG about a month ago. I looked thru some of his old IG posts...saw many photos from Colorado. According to one caption he finished a bachelor's degree in Intl Business cum laude in 2 years while working full time. I think his family is from Spain. He seems very independent and focused for 21. Seems like Adam is getting older but his taste in boys is staying the same - just like a classic rock star with the young babes

There are videos on youtube of Freddie with her son, his godson. No, he would have never said that. I remember the video with Mary‘s son. I think it was the little boy‘s first and Freddie’s last Christmas. You can find it on YT. As for Munich: Freddie had lived there most of the time between 1980 and 1985. So rather a long time. He had lived in 3 different apartments and loved Munich. He got away from the British press, Queen found a great Recording studio, where they recorded 3 (?) of their albums anf Freddie his first solo album. Freddie lived for a time with another woman, he apparently had been in a relationship with another man and he enjoyed the Munich club scene. I don’t think the drugs where more or different than in club scenes in New York (Freddie’s territory at the end of the 70s) or even London. Freddie threw one of the biggest parties of his life in Munich for his 39th birthday (some say, it was the biggest ever). Parts of the music video of „Breakthrough“ were filmed at that party. Brian, Roger and John were there, if I’m not mistaken. They spent a lot of time together in that city, although the others lived in Britain. Last year I was at the QAL concert in Munich. I have to say, that I could feel, that the city was special toy Brian Andy Roger. And that the audience really loved them. I never got that feeling, which is hard to describe in Cologne or Berlin. Munich is their home in Germany. They still tend to release their records (LPs) made in Germany. The problem with Freddie’s time in Munich was, that it was the time, when Aids really struck. Like Adam, Freddie had a group of friends and acquaintances with whom he regularly visited the gay bars and clubs. Those were around 20 people. Only 2 of them are still alive. The rest was almost entirely killed by aids. And accordingly to one member of the group, who told that story to a big German newspaper 2 years ago (Freddie’s 75th birthday), Freddie left Munich, when the first of them had died of aids and others were already ill. At least, that’s what that acquaintance said, but Freddie apparently never told him, why he left. That could of course be wrong. I guess this shows, that the film is nice entertainment based on Freddie’s life with Queen. There is not even a third of it in the film (how could it?) and some of it is even changed. If you want to know more, here is a quite good documentary about Freddie’s life: youtu.be/_xipkQboBAEJust enjoy the film as what it is: a film — made for entertainment for everyday people! 😉

But the guy also seems to fit the bill because Adam said he wants someone whovis also very passionate about something so that person understands his "obsessions"

Big plus: This one lives in LA. Got there only a few weeks ago. Moved there? How did you find out? ☺️ He moved to LA after he received his bachelor degree in Denver. Must have been in early October. He tells this in his comments under his Instagram pics. Maybe he got a job there? I don’t think, he knew Adam, before he came to LA.

We’ll see. 😊
