Oh I see that I'm late So he is on next week!!! Want to see the clip, but it'll probably be cut and up on youtube by the time I see the show.
And I'm laughing at us, we are so pathetic, just one little clip of Adam laughing, giggling, saying words, and we're all melted, and happy, no more angst. We are so addicted haha

Wait Anthony Ryan is he the annoying one, with the bad attitude, that keeps fighting with Bert or is that Joshua?

That's Joshua. Anthony Ryan Auld is the color-blind Southern boy.

Finally Adam on project runway!!! Actually I'm really liking this show except Joshua is getting on my nerves Last week Joshua and Bert had me yelling at the TV. Joshua was awful and bossy and mean while Bart was just plain weird. This week everyone was a little more sane except poor Oliver who kind of frightens me........ you know what they say, it's always the quiet ones who go postal. Ha! I never watched PR before a few weeks ago and that was to do prep for Adam's appearance. I'm surprised how much I like Tim and think Heidi has a streak of bitch. Cannot wait for Adam's show because even the teaser shows his personality and outspoken manner. Who am I kidding, he could sit there like a pet rock and I'd still watch I'm so starved for anything new.

Yay for Adam being on Project Runway next week!! Part 2 of Husbands. "There may be a document in my pants." ;D Hee. Lots of great lines. I think the series is off to a fantastic start! Hope it does well for everyone involved. I've been trying to promote it where I can. I was hoping that Adam would tweet about the show as well! Husbands has gotten a great media response so far. They have a lot of awesome articles, reviews, and endorsements on their website's press page. I've found fascinating several of the interviews (including the premiere Q&A session and some of the older videos on their website blog) that Brad and Jane Espenson have given where they talk about the writing process and offer writing advice, particularly on writing for the web. In this podcast interview with the two of them that I listened to last night (interview starts about 25 minutes into the podcast), Brad was asked (it was a bit of a complaint) why the Husbands episodes weren't longer. He said he specifically wanted to keep them at two minutes or under, and even ruthlessly cut down one that wasn't quite three minutes long. (The final 22-minute "pilot" will contain some material not in the individually posted two-minute episodes.) He explained that a major concern at this stage of the project is view count, and he believes longer content (which might not appeal to people viewing on breaks or in transit, etc.) takes your view count down. He wants to leave viewers wanting more, wanting to click replay or to click on the next episode. He believes it's possible to provide humor, character development, and a strong story arc in the short time frame. He thinks that people who'd watch a 5- or 15-minute episode would likely watch a two-minute one, but the reverse wouldn't necesarily be true. But it sounds like if the show builds a base and continues online (instead of hopefully TV) that future episodes would be slightly longer. ....I just find the whole thing very unfunny so far...and don't get me started that his name is actually CHEEKS in this damn thing. LOL. Chunkeymonkey, I like Brad a lot, but I wasn't so sure about the series, either, when I first saw the brief promo clips (I agree with duberville that the Haley character needs to enunciate better!), but I really enjoy the show. I think it's funny and well done. Maybe I have questionable taste, LOL. Sometimes even well-produced video can have a hollow, flat, echoey "sound" or "feel." It lacks--not a laugh track--but that intangible "something" that I can't put my finger on but I feel the difference when watching traditionally produced TV comedy. I don't know how to explain what I experience. Maybe that's part of what you're sensing. Also, maybe the show will be funnier to you (or not! ), if you wait and view it when there are five or six episodes to watch back-to-back. In the Q&A, Brad joked about naming the character "Cheeks"--"it was my statement about meta and how our culture is eating itself" (haha). And he explained that his husband's name, "Brady Kelly," is also a play off of his real name Brad Bell. He said that he'd always written for himself and wasn't sure how to write in a different voice, for another character. Approaching the character as another side of himself seems to have been his way into writing for Brady. He said that both characters are versions of himself, one more subversive, one more conservative, but both amplified. Wow. What a lovely, passionate, well-written message. About Daughtry, his music is not my kind of music (usually find him too generic), but I don't dislike the new song (there's that questionable taste thing again). I wouldn't buy it, but I wouldn't change the channel either. I found myself bopping along to the song. It's not tuneless metal music so I could see stations other than rock radio playing it. Hope his album does okay for him. A rising tide lifts all boats . . .
