We finally got some rain this morning, but we are about 300 miles west of Austin, so don't think this counts! And, any amount of rain is much needed, but this little shower probably won't measure more than .2". We have had less than 3" of rain this year, things are still dry, dry, dry!.
Still praying for rain in our state.

Happy Birthday Karla! And all the other birthday people I constantly miss. It was so nice to receive the wishes from people here (even though I didn't even post the day here but mentioned on twitter!) - thanks to everyone! And JustKaren - when was your birthday? Recently if you're a Virgo too right? ... it's your birthday, too??? arghhh... I don't do twitter, so I missed it!! :-/ And JustKaren's bday, too??? double arghhh... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BBs!!!! It's not your fault, neither one of us put it in our profile, so our birthday's didn't show up ... mine was a couple of weeks ago, August 29th. Yes, I'm a Virgo, along with two of my 3 children. But it's still nice to get birthday wishes, even after the fact. And my best birthday present is on its way ... my granddaughter is in the hospital as I type this, working on the birth of my 2nd great-grandson ... :D |
