I'm watching Karoake Battle USA right now (don't judge- I'm bored) and one of the guys is singing "Crazy" (the Gnarls Barkley version). I thought that song never got approved for television? Now I want to hear Adam sing it on my tv! Why wasn't it approved? What's wrong with it?

The story has always been that the writer/publisher/whomever wouldn't release it (kind of like how Adam and WLL was the first time Led Zepplin gave the release for one of their songs).

My bet is that for enough money, Idol could get Crazy cleared.

In a recent interview with Adam he said he sang "Crazy" for his early auditions for AI and as he progressed through, they told him he needed to sing a different song because they couldn't get approval for "Crazy." (The original artists have to approve it. Some resist because of "cred.") AI seems to take the path of least resistance. If they can't get instant approval, they move on.

I always heard he wouldn't clear it for Idol. Didn't they sing it either on The Voice or Sing Off? Sing Off had so many current songs cleared! Starts, next week. Can't wait!
