I've been on Queen FB many times before and had been seeing way more positive comments about Adam than ever before, and many of the fans who actually attended the shows defending Adam against the handful of trolls. I didn't read every single comment on Dancing FB but just seemed like a lot more negative comments to me. The out-of-tune ones were really jolting as I very rarely ever see that anywhere. I think the people saying he was out of tune were probably referring to when he goes higher (forgive my non-musical explanation) at 2:57 in the video instead of repeating the phrase as it was sung throughout the song previously. The first time I heard that, it sounded strange to me as well. Of course, it is only because they are probably only used to how it is sung in stadiums. Adam was BRILLIANT!!!!! I don't have the best ear in the world, but in tests, my ear is better than over 80% of the people tested. So, when I read a comment about Adam being out of tune and I don't hear it, I have to wonder if the commenter is in that 20% or less group, or whether they don't know what they are talking about. Percentage wise, I put my money on the latter.

Just saw this on The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Facebook page for YESTERDAY'S performance:
The nation’s #1 Cher impersonator and RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars season one winner, Chad Michaels (Chad Michaels Fan Page) performs the hits of the legendary artist.

Well said. That's why I ignore the negative responses because Brian and Roger ARE Queen and they believe in and back Adam as their singer 150%. Anyone that puts down Adam is putting down Queen as well so it is always funny to me how the haters act like they are huge Queen fans and yet they are saying the band they love so much are clueless in who is the best singer for the band. I thought Adam sounded great and in a music world full of bad singers that lipsync all the time I would rather an off note now and then and know that he is singing live and sounding so incredible. Except there were no off notes. I've listened a few times now and he was spot on! It was arranged for a show like this not the end of a rock concert the way he performs it with Queen. Didn't have the benefit of the sound of Queen behind him or the backup vocals, this was all Adam and he was brilliant! OH NO I didn't mean there were off notes in his performance I just meant a generalization of musical performances by anyone these days. A singer being off key is considered a bad thing and I think it is nice to know that someone is actually singing instead of sounding like a recording all the time. I struggle to think of any of Adam's performances that have off notes he always sounds perfect!! And you know he is singing live because of all the amazing nuances he puts into songs. He can sing the same song over and over and each version is different and special, just like tonight's performance!

What I saw were a lot of positives as well. Plus people going against the negative ones with positive things about Adam. It seems to me like the biggest haters are on FB compared to other media. Twitter gave some negatives, but most of the reactions were pretty positive. He's no Freddie is of course always there and I don't think it will ever be gone. Sadly. I find these words from Madonna quite fitting: twitter.com/jarettsays/status/1069269216899919872?s=21Let‘s listen to the 99 people!

Besides, I can listen and enjoy for myself. Don't need anyone to tell me what was good or bad. I am just happy that with no new solo music to promote, Adam is getting all these performances and chances to shine. Now bring on the Kennedy Center Honors.
