I think Adam's in his total EMOTING zone while singing Believe. He often flutters his fingers in QAL concerts, too. To me, he's "revving up his engines" - accelerating his emotions and excitement. Just my crazy interpretation. I agree with you about the "emoting" zone. It seems like he is internalizing the emotions at this point and getting ready for the vocal explosion. I think it sounds absolutely powerful. As to the gestures, I think he used his hands in a similar fashion in "Stay", TSMGO, Love Kills. It's using his hands and his voice alone to convey the feelings. I fell hard in less than 1 minute.

Omg everything is so exciting today Wonder what the big announcement is all about... About Adams performance: i thought that the sound was more raw/isolated than in the concerts... I need your help people. My friend and i got into a discussion. She said Adam flying so long for one song is unprofitable. He needs a pa, a sound engineer, stylist, one suitcase is for his microphone and inears alone etc. And i argued that he probably doesn't have the biggest entourages and so on, he's quite hands on and sometimes goes to interviews alone... Does someone have any knowledge or educated guess, with what kind of entourage Adam would travel for this? Some people maybe, but Adam? We pretty much know what he does, though.
No pa in England, but he did have Shoshanna with him, who is obviously officially in a PR role, but has over the years had her share of helping Adam with immediate needs. Adam did have somebody from his previous management on his own tours, or on some occasional major events, but by no means on every trip.
On Strictly, he probably worked with the sound team from the show.
Adam never has a stylist with him for such one off trips. He can do his own make-up and likes to do it.
I 'd guess that Adam took the two suits for the two performances, the microphone, in ears, etc. into the cabin with him, rather than check that luggage. At least that's what I would do. He was only gone for 4 days so far, not exactly a huge time.
Now let's see what tomorrow brings. I just renewed my ALfans membership. It had worked a few months ago, but had since expired. Now I am back on track, so whatever happens tomorrow, I'm ready.
What a day.

From the Washington Post article ( The writer didn't like Kristin Chenowith at all)

Thinking about the announcement, I kind of hope it is a life-event type. For instance, a new label, a timeline for A4, or maybe a fashion line of some kind. Why would any of these type of announcements require a membership though? I have no idea. Guess it would only require one valid membership though as it would then spread thru the Adamverse like an exploding phone tree

Does anyone else notice in the video as he keeps switching hands that his fingers start fluttering toward the end?? I think I am seeing things. Anyone else?? Maybe you are right and he was nervous. Gosh I was so busy listening to Adam's gorgeous interpretation of Believe ,I didn't notice anything other than his amazing voice. I can't wait to hear the rest of the song.. Same here. Want to hear the entire performance but what I heard he was phenomenal. Glad he did the slow version of "Believe" but would not expect it to be the exact same performance as before. And the hand movements just showed emotion and feeling to me. He does that sometimes but it was not distracting to me. What in the world is going on tomorrow? This is almost too much excitement for me. My nerves are almost fried, lol.
