According to Ticketmaster: Can I skip the waiting room? No, events with the waiting room is the newest way to shop on Ticketmaster. It’s set up to protect you from ticket bots, and we also think it provides a much better shopping experience since you can pick your own seats.

So what is the verdict on the Waiting Room? Better to use or to ignore? Does it seem to open at the 15min. mark? eta...just googled it...30 mins Last week for the Stones I waited 40 minutes on presale day, 15-20 on general sale day. I think it just depends on how many people are trying for tickets. Once it got below 1000, the counter moved fast. Then the screen went scarily blank for a sec before letting me in.

Are you allowed to open another browser while in the waiting room? Yes you should be able to. Ann posted yesterday she had a waiting room open in one and just kept refreshing another browser until she got into the purchase page. Good Luck You can use another browser but do not refresh it as suggested. I experimented it will just send you to the back. So use two browsers but go through the waiting room process in both and see which one you do better with. I have a question though, which is "better" up by stage or back towards the end of thrust, or anywhere right beside the thrust???? Asking for a friend

Are any of the seating maps interactive? Yes, I've just been searching Chicago and Charlotte to get myself ready for West Coast, and all interactive. However, repeatedly putting tickets in cart, I get a message "another fan has purchased these, best available now are....." and I'm choosing row 1 seats, they're offering me row 19 seats :(.

Ticket buying is always annoying but this round absolutely takes the prize! I give up. The Toyota Center just spits out random tickets and you take them or leave them. The first few offers were terrible seats. Never was I given a map to select from nor was I asked which type of ticket I wanted.
Focusing on the Dallas show, it was also more confusing than ever and the bottom line is that there are very few "dots" available on the map and absolutely none of them were satisfactory for a mere pair of non-floor tickets.
We have given up and will try again later today or when the public sale commences.
Harrumph.

Asking for a friend the section right at the end of the thrust is not coming up in any of my pre-searches - I bet they are saving those for re-sellers or platinum tickets later on. Or for whatever. But I would say any of the seats right along the thrust are best, usually they let the first 2 seats there stand up at the railing. My favorite seat is the corner front, hard to get though - only got it once.

Chicago was interesting. I went into waiting room at 9:30 and was 1880 when queue opened. My AL fan club kept saying invalid code so I used the Queen fan club code and it worked. I needed 3 tickets and I kept getting a message saying someone else got the tickets. Finally got my tickets but frankly my hands were sweaty. I was surprised how few tickets were available. Not like 2017 where I had more choices. Are tickets going faster or has something changed?
