I was listening to the radio this morning and of course they had there usual discussion of the current American Idol show. They love watching the show, but seem to have little love for any of the contestants outside of Clarkson and Underwood. Today, they ragged on how poorly Lee was doing because the website Celebrity Net worth say that he is only worth $50K. They said no one has done well since Jordin Sparks, and then called Kris a one-hit wonder, but then when they looked up his net worth, they were look puzzled that he wasn't nearly the failure they thought he was. So they were like trying to figure out how he make so much money. They didn't ever give out the figure. It was like once the data didn't support their asssumptions, the topic was changed.
I looked up the info on the site because I was curious what they now list as Adam's net worth. Disclaimer here: The site has been discussed on this board before. Accuracy of data and source are not verified, so don't run with this. At best, data should be viewed on a relative basis.

I guess I am lucky in a way as I have not experienced the need to be acknowledged or appreciated by Adam. I just feel happy that he exists in a public eye and quite selfishly - I want him to continue be an artist so I can be entertained... I would do anything in my means to support him in that.I am nostalgic too - all the "high" of the nightly concerts, with the sounds, pictures, moves, getting tickets, travelling.... now just RL and waiting... He'll always have me... I need nothing more from him than music (I still listen to FYE every day...) and every now and then interviews (words!!!!) of whatever topic is current. When Adam#2 comes along I'll buy it and go to as many concerts I possibly can...in order to make new music and/or diversify to other genres; movies, fashion or what have you he needs to WORK and make CONNECTIONS. Eyes on the prize. Other than that, I want him to have a life and be happy. The way I can contribute to that is being positive and supportive, every way I can. For me, this tweet he sent two days ago says a lot about the man and how he feels about his fans. It's all and more I ever needed from him. To focus on the positive: I wanna thank the majority of you for your passion, loyalty and *sanity*! deep sigh.... How is he so pretty and yet so damn masculine too... one of the great mysteries GrammyAdam is one of my all time favorite looks. *pets photo* My DH sent me a link to yahoo the morning after the Grammys with a note "This will make you happy. Adam looks great!" (bless his heart, he didn't realize I'd already scoured the internet for every photo hours earlier ;D ) it's one of my fav looks too! he looks so freak'n amazing that night. So sexy. |

I love my calendar and didn't even mind the very, very long wait because it was signed  I even recently took the plastic off of it but asked family and friends to wash their hands before touching it. Ok, just for the reaction (heehee). Oh yes, and don't fall over but I don't mind the tshirt. I probably won't buy it because I have not worn the other one that I have, but it is the most understated of the bunch and that is what I am looking for. So for the record if anyone is lurking that has any pull in the tshirt department - I am looking for a long sleeve black fitted V neck tshirt with an small eye of horus on the back of the neck or bottom of sleeve. I would pay big bucks for something plain and understated. I love my big eye of horus t-shirt. It cost $50 which I thought was fairly expensive, but it's super soft and looks great. I get compliments every time I wear it. I don't know if Adam does understated..... That's the one I wear too....cuz it's soft and less boxy.. and the graphic is cool. Adam runs in artistic circles - why in the hell can't he find someone to create better merchandize!! ?? Hah! Oh...and I adore my calendar. That was money well spent. (as far as feelings hurt and expectations in general - I can't even bring myself to tweet the man.... don't know him, he doesn't know me....we're not BFF's.....just wanna watch/listen to him sing) |

Ok, RL on a true day off calls. It's been fun playing with ya'll and catching up. I'm around sometimes. I always look at the front page and Sundays with NoAnGel is something to look forward to.
