According to the MBTI my style has never changed. Eccentric, chatty, big picture person, intuitive and somewhat warm. Really!. I use this tool with my clients but there is much more to us than being a type. Its brilliant communication for team work.


I have been here almost everyday lurking as I prefer to read and sometimes there is just nothing to add to some of the wonderful conversations that goes on here.

I have to apologise for writing about past events as I do not post often.

However I have something on my mind:

EVERYTHING GRAMMY: Ok Adam did not perform as I felt. But he attended the Grammy social network summit. Enjoyed the tit bits. It was an opportunity for Adam to learn some more about how he could use social networking to his advantage. Chamillionaire was fantastic as he is part of that culture. I was impressed. I think Adam has already picked up some tips which I can see him using.

For me the Clive Davis party was great for Adam to mingle. As Clive says a raising star. Amen. If only the Grammy awards and others let him in to perform and contribute to the music industry. They have nothing to fear if anything a lot to gain. Ask Mick. I will get to that later.

So Adam did not win. Well am not upset. I think Adam has a lot of work to do. With Bruno winning 1 out of 7 awards that is not a great ratio.

As for Bruno when I listen to his voice he has something similar to MJ in places. Whether this is a deliberate move to add nostalgia to his music I am not so sure. But I have a feeling that he is savvy enough to know that he sounds a bit like MJ and can exploit that. He has a softer tone which I think markets well today it seems. I have been listening to MJ a lot lately. What I get from his music is that while there is a lot of instruments in the background the voice is very strong and soothing.

What does this say about Adam? As I have always said. His voice must suit his style on Adam#2. I feel that he can use a bit of wailing on his CD this time. He can emotionally make listeners cry if he does. He is like a gospel singer at times. As he said Adam # 2 will be genuine and heartfelt. So go on Adam give it some welly!! That should be his signature sound. I have been listening to Adele! Talk about authentic and heartfelt. Wow!

Performances this year were fun. I really enjoyed it. My favourites: Evergreen Babs, James Brownesque Janelle Monae and co, Rainbow lights Muse, the girls for Aretha and last but not least my favourite of the night authentic MICK JAGGER. WOW. He is pushing seventy and still has it. He had me and my family dancing-the first and only time we danced all night! Adam should take note that maintaining live performing with just him and the band will establish him in the market as the one to see in the future. I am surprise that Adam did not comment on Mick's performance. Maybe he left early.

Mick also showed up today's stars for what they are, no substance and too much fireworks to make things happen instead of communicating with the audience. From the time Mick went on till he left he had us eating out of his hands. What energy what style. I feel like I want to see the stones again. What's his secret!! He practices Buddhism apparently. Well that gives you inner strength and brain power or maybe something else lol. Bring on Tina Turner next year!

OK the hoopla about Gaga's masterpiece that never materialised. What is that all about? Copying Madonna and other tunes only establishes her as 'an abstract updated Madonna with Grace and Prince thrown in'. Well maybe the album is a masterpiece. Frankly I am bored and my family agrees.

Winners of the night seem to be more country and rock. This is good news for Adam. I am pleased that Esperanza Spalding won not because of the Bieberites but because according to Prince who has played with her she is a talented musician. I have listened to her music and she is just exquisite.

I enjoyed Kanye West's funny commentary on Grammy night on Twitter.

REBRANDING ADAM? Lets see. Has it started? He says he is moving from glam glitter to glam leather. This seems to put in mind of someone. ELVIS. Or has his marketing people been having a word with him on what he wants to do next. His presentation at the Clive's party and the Grammy was on the money. He was so handsome.

I think for the UK and USA we will see a shift to suit the market. I feel that genuine and heartfelt will go with his creative album cover. That voice at the forefront: should be gentle, wailing, strong with some celebration thrown in. Adam is about love and that what should be at the centre of the album I think. The focus has to be with himself and the band for this album and concert.

I have been thinking for some time that Adam needs diversify as soon as possible into TV and films. This will get him into mainstream and help sell his music. Glee for instance has become the platform for promoting the pop chart. If Adam can get on that it will be great. Even a small part in a movie will do the trick. I recognise that he needs more exposure as he is not getting it from the award shows. I feel he will have a career similar to Jennifer Hudson but bigger my other favourite star if given the chance. What do you think?


SMACKING DOWN FANS ON TWITTER: Its been a long time coming. I remember asking a question on here some time ago. 'If Adam stops kissing Tommy will the fans move on?' I have never paid close attention to this behaviour. So I had to unleash my inner researcher to understand what's going on by reading a fan site a few days ago. Lo and behold I wish I never started. I do not know what 'fantasy shipper' is but its become reality for some. Its disgusting. Pass me the sick bucket!! As I found out its not just teens/tweens its grown adults as well. It involves Tommy, Sueli, Brad sometimes Kris's fans all fighting each other. Reading the Mj's thread educated me further how rampant this behaviour is. I am afraid Adam's plea is going is on deaf ears. I like Tommy but I feel that he likes the attention it gives him and plays along to prolong the fame. A blogger sometime ago noted that when the guitarist is becoming more popular than the real star there is something deeply wrong. Not that I think he is. I for one is not into this kissing malarkey it takes the attention away from the music which is why I am a fan. And I know its not all through the show but with human nature this gets their attention and feeds the fantasy much more. Adam has unknowingly created a monster of a problem when he first started kissing Tommy that some sick minds cannot see that this was for entertainment. I think he has learnt something. I am hoping that Adam #2 will focus on the music and this will weed out these fantasist. As it seems he will definitely loose fans but will gain real music fans.

To finish off. What will happen to all those lovely comments left on the water site? I think Adam should use some of them to promote of his music. What do you think?
