Radio Aalto's Ellen The Vehviläinen Show comes out 2-6 PM. That is an impossible time for Sauli and I think Kimmo and Ellen don't want work outside of their working hours and tape the program. (I've been lurking here daily since January and now trying to learn to write here with my poor English) Welcome, bobo! WHY is it an impossible time? 2pm Helsinki = 4am LA time.. it might be inconvenient, but certainly not impossible... may be I am used to being called on a 24 hour basis, as many professions, including reporters do.... a job is a job... I think the time difference is probably an excuse. Since Katri and Sauli started filming Tutka again, I've been thinking that Sauli will want to drop the radio job. His chemistry with Katri is much better than his chemistry with Ellen (the female radio host). And Ellen was always asking awkward questions, trying to get Sauli to say something about Adam. I think this is a much better situation. Sauli can still write his blog and decide himself what to tell and what not to tell, and with Katri they will talk about entertainment news and basically continue what they've been doing for a couple years. They have their own audience already in Finland. |

True, but, if you didn't HAVE to handle 4 am calls, would you do it? Just my totally uninformed opinion/reaction, but if I had a boyfriend who was just going to sleep an hour or two before that, and I didn't want to leave his bed or wake him up, or keep him up until that time.... and if I didn't have to do it for financial reasons.... and if I was basically incoherent at 4 am even if I was semi-conscious (which would be true).... well, I think I would bow out, too. |

I've just read a few posts about feeling welcome here and have to say there have been times when I feel this is the wrong place for me because so many of the regular posters have met, been to concerts together or have had listening parties and so most of the conversation turns to talk of your shared experience. Most of my posts are ignored. I except that because I love to talk about Adam and have learned so much about him and the music business here. I do not have the $$$ to travel far to concerts or get togethers but I would in a minute if I did. I to have been shot down with a comment or two that someone didn't agree with then stepped back and just lurked for a while. No longer will I do that. I've learned we are all his fans and equally invested in him. So bring it on and I will respond. I do love it here and one day hope to meet some of you!!! Yeah this is me. I mostly lurk, and post when I can. I work really early in the day, (4:30am-1pm), and usually post when I'm at work or when I come home, (and usually sleep either early or late) so my posts seems a bit irregular. That's why I thought that maybe Susie's post last night was talking about me? I guess we as fans really love Adam and think any little perceived slight as someone being trollish, negative or passive/aggressive. I came over from MJ's and use to lurk here a lot, till I met someone from PF at my last Costa Mesa concert last year, who encouraged me to come out of lurking and post. I really love it here and the atmosphere, mainly because I think we can be a bit objective when it comes to Adam, at least a little. I mean just because we love Adam doesn't mean we have to love everything he does/says/wears/friends. And I like to be in a place where everything is not so borderline overwhelmingly negative/positive. And this is just going on and on about nothing, so nvm. |
