LOL, she didn't know that Adam didn't win   I think there may be a whole fandom that isn't buying Kelly's new album! Oh, and 12 tattoos?!!! Where, Kelly! just an observation: 10 years later and they still ask AI questions...this tells me that BB will never get from under the AI cloud ...for some reason it makes me sad... Am I overly "concerned"? |

Idol is a Pop culture phenomenon. No, it will never go away and I wouldn't worry about it. Adam does have one advantage over Kelly though..... he didn't win. He was ON American idol. He is NOT the American Idol. Although, many people think he did win! LOL! I love how Kelly thought of Adam when the discussion turned to who was international!  |

Am I overly "concerned"? I think that Kelly is special because she was the first Idol. Carrie, Daughtry and Jennifer Hudson all do interviews where Idol is not mentioned at all. So it is possible to leave it behind a bit. It will always be part of Adam's bio and Idol deserves the credit for helping Adam to break through the "no gays" barrier. Without Idol, the very conservative record label execs and radio execs would have continued to believe that the American public would not accept a gay artist. I really do not think that it is a bad thing -- as long as winning (or not winning) Idol is not the peak of your career. |

I couldn't have said it any better, Seoulmate!! ;D LOL...adamrocks, one of the things I love the most about that tweet is the "EVERYTHING THEY TOLD ME" bit!!! I guess "they" could be Adam stans... but I'd like to think that "they" are industry insiders, producers, and/or even other singers and musicians who are all connected and talking GOOD THINGS about Adam behind his back!!! Then, when Adam walks into a studio and opens his mouth, these peeps who've never heard him singing live before are all --->     This has been a common reaction to hearing Adam sing. Back when Adam got the job on the cruise ship (as a last minute replacement, I think) the other performers were leery of this young kid..... until he opened his mouth to sing. Then all the protests fell silent. The cast of the Ten Commandments heard he was great, but when he ran thru his song the first time, they became converts. One of the leading ladies from Wicked said she had heard how great Adam's voice was, but didn't fully realize it til she was onstage with him and experienced it, and he blew her away! Yeah, Adam will do that to you! |

BUT Re PR, I still haven't had a chance to speak to the individual who was on the set filming PR. I want to interrogate him to find out every itsy bitsy detail and want to know why Nina is flailing .
All I know is that I am so excited for PR and waiting impatiently for the new single

Can I just say that I'm an extreme worrywart and pessimist and I'm terrified of this second era. As much as I want new music, I'm dreading whether he will succeed or fail. After Cook's very dismal second era, I'm very worried. I know Adam has everything it takes to make it, but what if he ends up falling into the same boat as most of the idol winners do in the second era or if America is still not ready for him, especially if he doesn't hold back on stuff people will be offended by. He can't let it all hang out like the rappers or the females can so I'm wondering if he's going to sing to boys this time or what? I'm also dreading the OLFIP fan attacks if he bombs. I'll probably just crawl in a hole until it's all over. That what I did after the AMA's. I also hope Adam fans don't go overboard with the Adam storm stuff this time just in case it doesn't work. :-/ (((((Jo))))) There is always a storm going on somewhere in the world, right? When that single drops, if it isn't storming hard enough out in the public media, come in here, because we'll all be dancing in some Atop electric rain! In here, no matter what the charts say, Adam is #1, on the top of the list with all of us, wildly successful in making us FLAIL whenever he sings or speaks or appears, and the only hole we fall down in here is the rabbit hole, LOL. Seriously, Adam is already successful. Remember he said as a boy (BTM) that he would be a happy man if he could make a living singing for the rest of his life. He will definitely be able to do that already. Success! I will be happy if this album brings Adam more fans and huge chart success, and especially critical success, but I will also be happy just because this album will bring me NEW MUSIC AT LAST  . And new MUSIC VIDEOS and new INTERVIEWS!!! Anything more is frosting on my cake. Yes, that is the way I am going to look at things going into Adam 2. 100% my point of view and it always has been. I want Adam to be outrageously successful and famous worldwide, but I think he has already achieved more than he ever dreamed and now has set new and loftier goals that so many in the industry are trying to help him reach. It makes me so proud that all of those people think he is worth their time and attention. It is so much more important than a popularity contest among the fickle and uneducated consumers. |

Reihmer, I love BFTP so much!! Do you ever take requests? Can you do one sometime focusing on Adam's tongue?  I remember a fan video that had many clips of him licking his lips. Couldn't find it, but I did find this oldie... Smile. |
