At times we've all posted something we consider witty or brilliantly insightful....and no response. I've learned to laugh that off, as I chase after some bright shiny Adam related thing. And Adam reached 1.200.000 followers!!!! YAY!!!!!

I've just read a few posts about feeling welcome here and have to say there have been times when I feel this is the wrong place for me because so many of the regular posters have met, been to concerts together or have had listening parties and so most of the conversation turns to talk of your shared experience. Most of my posts are ignored. I except that because I love to talk about Adam and have learned so much about him and the music business here. I do not have the $$$ to travel far to concerts or get togethers but I would in a minute if I did. I to have been shot down with a comment or two that someone didn't agree with then stepped back and just lurked for a while. No longer will I do that. I've learned we are all his fans and equally invested in him. So bring it on and I will respond. I do love it here and one day hope to meet some of you!!! Ha! Post away! One of the reasons I started this forum was so that all opinions about Adam from Adam fans were welcome and could be shared. I am a huge Adam fan and I am pleased I have been able to see him live and meet many other Adam fans. Part of the joy of this fandom is the diversity of thought and opinion. And the day we all agree, if the day this forum has no reason to exist. If we all agree, what is there to discuss?

From JustJarred ---- a rare error! Mon, 19 September 2011 at 2:20 am Adam Lambert: New Single Coming Out This Month!Link: justjared.buzznet.com/2011/09/19/adam-lambert-new-single-this-month/Ummmmmm don't I wish!! That will be October PROBABLY not September. If so, he could lose his visa status and have to move back to Finland. Then what? Marriage, not recognized in CA. From what I heard, they are complaining that they couldn't reach Sauli. Sounds really like a lame excuse... I agree that the interviews especialy with Ellen didn't sound "natural", they were a bit tense. Or maybe it's just because I don't like her very much - JMO. Anyway, let's not panic yet! ;D Sauli is still working for Ilta-Sanomat, writing his blogs and making Video-Tutka. So there shouldn't be any problems with his visa. Thanks for the info. Seems like a lame excuse to me. But Sauli has enough going on that he should have no Visa issues.

Is anyone here familiar with these types of visas? Do you have to work a certain number of hours in order to qualify?

Is anyone here familiar with these types of visas? Do you have to work a certain number of hours in order to qualify? I do not think we even know if Sauli is here on a Media Visa. BUT IF HE IS, this is the most likely category: Journalists working under contract- Persons holding a credential issued by a professional journalistic organization, if working under contract on a product to be used abroad by an information or cultural medium to disseminate information or news not primarily intended for commercial entertainment or advertising. Please note that a valid employment contract is required. It is not based on hours but there needs to be a contract for the work. Everything you want to know about Media visas here: travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_1276.html

You are not alone. I still continue to come here and post even if no one is listening. Don't let anyone bother you, and just remain on the site, either lurking or posting. Someone is listening. It's probably me. I enjoy even the weird, clickie stuff.

Most of us really don't get responses on our posts too often, but just know that even when I am not responding to posts, they are never ignored. There are so many great posts, and usually when I read, I am nodding my head or smiling or reading someone else's response that already says what I would have said in a response, and far better at that, so I just kind of read on. When I post, I just imagine others doing the same thing, LOL, whether they are or not. In my mind, I see you all nodding. ETA: Back to work, but the good news? This week I get to see Adam ON MY TV AGAIN!!!!!

Many of us read EVERY post, and not replying does not mean that the ideas/info was ignored or not appreciated. I know how it feels, especially when you witness the bonds that have been created among many on the board in the past two years. I can see how it is easy to feel like an "outsider"... For instance I also feel a bit "jealous" of the group that meets at Maumi's or the CA folks that seem to have lots of fun together going to all kinds of events. I really wish I could meet and participate in all of it, BUT - hey, we get to hear about it and most importantly - ALL OF US, posters and lurkers, get to experience the truly INTERNATIONAL community, with all kinds of ideas, experiences, attitudes and sensitivities. I love the global side of the board! As far as I am concerned - the more people post and share - the better. I love hearing the "how did you get into this" stories, various recaps and personal experiences in general. In short - YOU ARE NOT IGNORED! YOU ARE WELCOMED HERE!
