What must Adam be thinking these days? I was listening to some early AFL, from musicals and the Upright Cabaret. Adam had such a marvelous voice, everyone who heard him remarked about it, he had to know he had something very special, and yet, he could not get a leading role or a record contract. Years and years of knowing you have such an instrument, only to be constantly frustrated trying to be recognized. Now, fast forward to today. In a studio. Making the kind of music he wants to make. Recording with one of the hottest producers today. And the guy publicly states, in front of Adam, that he is "one of the illest vocalists, EVER!" HE IS A MUTHAFUCKIN' BEAST. Forget how all the fans feel about that public declaration. Think about how ADAM feels. More than that he is living his dream. More than that he has made it. That he is finally, publicly, internationally, getting that recognition denied him for so long. WE are all flailing, but, I have to think that Adam is feeling warm fuzzies and a sense of fulfillment and contentment, personally and professionally.  ETA: 3:05 am EDT. 5005 views of the twitvid. (And that doesn't count the YT.) |

Ten years ago I got all weepy when the Canadian government finally abolished all anti-gay policies in the military, and after the DADT news today, I'm getting all choked up again. Happy tears ---->  In honor of the repeal of DADT today. |

And I was chuckling at the number count on that twitvid... it's now up to 5064 5087 ;D On the other hand, the two other posted vids are WAY LOWER. The one with Usher was posted 3 weeks ago, and has 1423 views, and the other one has only 633. ;D |

Thank you Q3 for your tireless effort to keep our spirits up....
must have been a lot of hours of concentration to get that list of Top Songs sorted out....
I am glad to see most of the ones I love are up there.....
Sound of Silence.... so poignant ... and Paul Simon performed in during the 9/11 Ground Zero In Memoriam...so painfully echoing the silence ......
I earnestly hope there will be a song in that much awaited Album, that will be as poignant as this...
