Lol, count me as another one that didn't know about Playmobil. My kids were born 1987 and 1989, but the only thing in our house was Legos. Neither of the kids really played with them. My daughter was drawing from about 2 or 3 on (she didn't like dolls either lol). Son liked running around outside or playing with little cars. As he got older he like building models a bit.
We didn't go to McD very much, so we must have missed them in the Happy Meals.

Tbh, from the three sound bytes so far, the intro here (AI alum) and the questions about idol, I am getting a bit annoyed... hope the rest will be more entertaining and less lazy interviewing... This was the game part, but only sound. A lot of Adam laughing! It was posted here before, but it was in a tweet. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YsDOVrZSOs

Well, if Playmobil was popular 50 years ago and is popular now....how come I never heard of it before Adam got the part in the movie? lol. My son is 36 and he was into HeMan and Ninja Turtles. I think I remember Adam saying something about having a Skeletor playset...which we had too. I think it was more European. I've played with it and I'm 36 as well. My aunt and unckle had a whole bucket full of figures and stuff. It was invented in the 70's in Germany and it was hugely popular in the Netherlands. I do know HeMan and Ninja Turtles but know nothing about Skeletor. We did have 2 buckets of Lego. Oh, my sister loved Ninja Turtles on TV and her Game Boy. I liked the cartoons of He-Man and Skeletor on TV. But as a girl, I didn’t play with these playsets. Wasn’t there also a figure for girls later, called She-Ra? I found that pretty dumb. To add: Skeletor was He-Man’s archenemie.

Never really knew its origin was more European. We have Playmobil pieces all around the place. It's very creative and has fun characters. I think this movie will have international appeal due to the popularity of PM in Europe. But the US has the sets, too. I LOVE how Adam sounds in his role. Looks like it's a juicy part!
