HI friends... What a couple of horrific days.. MY DH was rushed to the hospital with his aortic valve almost closed, operation revealed that mitril valve and tricuspid valve also needed to be repaired. This is his second major open heart surgery.. I hope he'll be ok next 24/48 hours key.. Oh, what a scary situation. I'm keeping good thoughts for your DH and you. Please let us know how he is doing.

Sauli is all rainbows and Adam is like Bambi. Adam & Sauli have 10 raccoons that play in the pool? I thought that the 4 raccoons that play in mine and My neighbours back yards were a lot. I don't think Sauli would like my Husbands Tarantula thou! ;D Your rainbow reminds me of the gif of Adam when He bats His eyelashes and the gif turns in to Bambi. Does anybody have that gif? I'm at My Mom's and Her dial up internet keeps crashing and it's impossible to post pictures or gifsI could watch that gif forever, that little tounge at the end *sigh* and he has a make up malfunction. No guyliner on his left eye. Adorable!

One year ago Adam was in Puyallup, Washington to perform at the Puyallup Fair. Earlier in the day he attended an event at Joint Base Lewis McChord for soldiers and their families. The same day congress was wrestling with passing “don’t ask/don’t tell”. The legislation did not pass but one year later, almost to the day “don’t ask/don’t tell is part of the history books. Men and women serving in the military are no longer restricted and can serve openly without having to hide their sexual orientation. The Puyallup appearance was the last show in the US before the Glamnation Tour headed overseas and became global ( he closed out the tour in LA when he returned to the US). It was a beautiful and amazing night. I believe there was somewhere between 7,000 and 8,000 in attendance. Met up with a couple of Atopper’s and ran into a few others from other GNT concerts during the year and met some new fans. Am looking forward to the new music and can’t wait to be crushed in the crowd again watching Adam perform, sing his fabulous new music and create that special magic all over again. Didilynn, rjacks and I were fortunate to be able to attend the CD signing at Fort Lewis that day (I'm retired from the Air Force so we were able to get on to the base). It was held at the Base Exchange and it was great to see so many people there in line to meet Adam and have CDs and pictures signed. It was an unexpected treat - JustKaren told is about the event at breakfast and off we went! The concert was wonderful as well, and I'm glad that we are here, one year later, and DADT is a thing of the past.

OT: As I recall, there is a member here (whose name escapes me) who went to Burning Man and volunteered in the med tent. This article on Burning Man has a bit on the med tent: www.slate.com/id/2303993/
