Adam is recording in the lap of luxury - chef, pool, beautiful deck, tiki hut built by the Miccosukees, Cuban guy talking like the brothers, pictures of his peers like Beyonce and Usher on the walls. A whole new world of experiences and you know he will suck it up like a sponge. I am beyond thrilled for him. HI friends... What a couple of horrific days.. MY DH was rushed to the hospital with his aortic valve almost closed, operation revealed that mitril valve and tricuspid valve also needed to be repaired. This is his second major open heart surgery.. I hope he'll be ok next 24/48 hours key.. Warm thoughts to you and your DH.... And also to you pjd  |

Sauli's spider web photo is beautiful! Sad they are going to be exterminated! :( I thought the same thing! I admire spider webs...not a fan of exterminators. A quarter size, 1/16 inch deep Brown Recluse spider bite will lessen your fascination with spiders. The webs - hell yes, the inhabitants - not so much. Change of subject: Who might have come up with the idea for Adam to work with people like Pharrell and Rico? Now that he’s out of the Idol orbit, does RCA or his mgmt spend as much time nurturing and advising him BEFORE the album is finished ? I can see Adam conjuring up a collab with Sia or BCJean, but this would seem a little far off his radar to me. I’m loving it, just wondered where it came from. |

I have been thinking a lot about money the past couple of days.
If one of these producers has a "hit" - what does that mean in monetary terms for them? Any idea how much money a year these guys would be making?
And I am wondering how dancers and band members survive (not just Adam's) Can they make a decent living? it must be extremely stressful to be living tour to tour and finding work in between. Especially if you have a family.
Oh, and LOL at the exterminator for spiders.....I am afraid that they will be back.

I love that Adam is always up for new challenges out of a sense of wonder and adventure, not just cheap attempts to be cool. At least, that is how I see him. Not that he doesn’t want to have a hit and leave his comfort zone to get it, but I feel he takes the high road in more than just his response to conflict. Yes, in answer to your question, I do often wear rose colored glasses, but I don’t think I’m far wrong on Adam - he and I have a (almost 3 yr) history. That’s longer than many marriages. |

It is amazing to have so many kind and caring people gathered here who support each other and comfort each other in times of need. I'm feeling blessed to be a part of this wonderful community.....
