HI friends... What a couple of horrific days.. MY DH was rushed to the hospital with his aortic valve almost closed, operation revealed that mitril valve and tricuspid valve also needed to be repaired. This is his second major open heart surgery.. I hope he'll be ok next 24/48 hours key.. Will keep you in my prayers. Feel shallow rambling on about things when RL can be so difficult. But we come here to both escape and at the same time be with friends. I think the "rambling," shallowness, and silliness really helps.

I have been thinking a lot about money the past couple of days. If one of these producers has a "hit" - what does that mean in monetary terms for them? Any idea how much money a year these guys would be making? And I am wondering how dancers and band members survive (not just Adam's) Can they make a decent living? it must be extremely stressful to be living tour to tour and finding work in between. Especially if you have a family. I don't think most musicians and dancers make a very good living. I live in Austin Texas where there are a lot of musicians ... the ones I know have day jobs as computer programmers, etc. I don't know much about dancers and how they survive. I do wonder how Monte, Tommy, Cam, Isaac, and the dancers. make ends meet. Monte probably still gives private guitar lessons which might bring in a fair amount of money. I don't know if Cam or Isaac or any of the dancers teach any classes. I can't imagine that Tommy would be sought after in that capacity. Monte, Tommy, Isaac, and Cam all perform solo or with other bands. Since they actually have fans who want to hear their music, this again might bring in some decent money, especially if they keep hustling for gigs. (I'm excited for new music next month from both Monte and Cam). As far as I know none of the members of Adam's band play in cover bands doing weddings etc. It just seems to me that except for Monte, they must all be poor, unless they secretly do some kind of freelance work in another field. :(

Could I ask for some good thoughts for my Grandmother? I posted her picture on her 103rd birthday last month. She is not doing well today (she first started feeling bad yesterday). I'm not sure it is right to hope for her to "recover" if she is going to be unwell and uncomfortable, so I am just sending my thoughts out asking for whatever is best for her. If it is her time to go, let it be quick and painless. If she has more in her, then let her recover quickly and be able to enjoy any time she has left with us. Thanks.

So from the photo that Rico posted I guess we were all wrong he wasn't at the airport haha! He probably was at the studio waiting for Rico to finish the song. That's why I told you that I saw Adam at one point in the middle of the twitter party switching from i-phone to web twitter. He was probably sitting at the studio. But again all that is just a guess. ;D Loving the photo that Rico posted. He looked soooo relaxed and beautiful!!! :D Regarding the Rico/Adam photo - I think Adam is looking kinda shy but, cute as always! He's been so tight-lipped about A2! I love that others working with him AREN'T!!! YAY!! I love the fact that they LOVE HIM!! Industry Great music peeps BERTING over Adam is just the best possible situation for him! ;D (us too ) LOVE the Rico/Adam photo in the OP today. Shy is a good one. What came to my mind is I thought Adam looked submissive with his head down and wonder if he did that on purpose. I don't mean that in a negative way. What I mean is that Rico is a big hit maker and Adam is in his house, so to speak. Now we get a photo and Adam is not trying to hog the limelight and I wonder if he posed like that on purpose or if it is just instinct. Anyway, that is what came to my mind right away when I saw his stance in the picture:-)

Well, once they kill all the spiders they will be over run with other pesty bugs. Spiders perform a valuable service IMO- they actually eat more insects than birds do. Silly Sauli. He needs to go to Miami with Adam so he can experience a two pound cockroach- the Palmetto Bugs down there are truly horrendous.

Uh Huh Her has a very nice Indie following and they have been touring almost all year. They do venues around 1,000 capacity and many sell out. Monte, with the 4 kids, I have NO idea. The gigs he has done have all been for exposure, not to make money. Tommy lives cheaply! LOL! I am guessing that the tour paid all the Glamily quite well, and the 2 one offs this year (Moscow and Quebec) have kept the band going. S*&@^#r has been working almost non-stop so I thinhk he is doing well. Brooke, I don't know... good savings, a fiance holding the apt. together, and probably got paid more as choreographer. Taylor?? Of course, Sasha has been being paid by SYTYCD. But remember, they toured for almost all of last year and so food and housing were taken care of. I don't think any of the dancers, besides Brooke, kept their apts. while they were on the road. So, last year's salary probably keeps them going this year. Maybe?

Haha!!! I cannot imagine that Sauli who covered himself fully with snakes at that show, is the same person who runs from spiders! I guess every person has it's fears! :D THere is a HUGE difference between snakes and spiders! For me, it has to do with the number of legs. I have no problem with snakes and 2 and 4 legs don't bother me, but as soon as we get to 6 legs I start getting unhappy. I don't deal with spiders at all and have even been known to scream and run from the room when I encounter one! You really don't want to be around if I see a centipede My husband and I have an agreement - I deal with stuff like snakes (we're in the midwest, so very few poisonous ones - just the occasional gartersnake in the garden.) and he deals with all insects & arachnids. But you can squish a spider while a snake can chase you and crawl up your back and wrap around your neck and drag you into the Everglades where BIG spiders like scorpions will crawl all over you... Yeah,if I had to choose, it would be (itsy bitsy) spiders.
