Regarding 'Love Kills': Yes, Adam did not create that slowed down version. True. But wasn't he the first one who performed it slowed down live, and only later, when that studio collection was released in 2014, did people hear the Freddie version that you posted above? Or am I totally confused in that matter? does that count for your graphic? That's a different question...and obviously up to you ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) . My understanding is that QAL included "Love Kills" in its slow form in the 2014 tour to promote the upcoming "Queen Forever" album. So the ballad version must have existed months before the album release, and thus before the tour. Since I am trying to showcase the instances where Adam was involved in the creation (even when he credits Michael Orland, Dilana, Gary Jules, Muse etc. for help or just inspiration), I felt his involvement in "Love Kills" was somewhat unclear or marginal. I will find another place to stick it in ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I just added a whole "Essentials" section with tons of cool videos, so it might end up there, together with "Save Me", the Toronto 2014 "Somebody To Love" etc. Thanks for the feedback!

I was very close to including Love Kills as a redone disco song. However, in this case he simply interpreted a version that Brian and Roger released with Freddie's vocals. www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTPdU_07YZYWhile Adam's live performances of the song (esp. the first one at the pre-tour concert at the iHeartRadio Theatre) were extraordinary, they were not uniquely "adamized". Plus I did not want to anger the FLD people. Thanks for the flowers! I have been using Autodesk 3ds Max since 1996, and its predecessor 3d Studio since 1993. It is not necessarily the "right" tool for the job, but it is my Swiss Army Knife application for nearly anything. I used to work on Visual Effects for Hollywood movies. Through an acquisition I now work for one of the largest data-driven companies in the world, so I like diving deep into numbers, too ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Interesting. Autodesk. There is a name from the past, at least for me. Was there once for some IT related fire-drill, but I never had anything to do with their actual product, don't even know anymore what exactly the fire drill was about, just remember all the dogs running around their headquarter offices while we were trying to work with a deadline we were trying to meet. Anyhow, I digress. Clearly a software product that takes a significant amount of time to learn. Looks cool though, if you know what to do with it.

Technically, as M.Orland is pointing out, Adam did not invent this version of Believe either or at least not alone, btw. But clearly he knew what to do with the suggestion, when tons of other singers would have not known what to do, and he since developed it further, made it his own, because this version certainly does not sound like a carbon copy of the one from 2009. So, I think, it's all good. He deserves this credit every bit, it has been so very much overdue, and I guess, many people feel this way, and so that pent up energy is finally set free. How arbitrary that this song and this performance became such a publicized and lauded event, when there were so many others in the past who would have deserved it just as much, but this is how it goes in this strange world of entertainment. I'll take it, anything to make people understand what a fantastic singer and performance artist Adam really is. it's about time.
DancyGeorgia had also suggested 'Save me', but I have to say that this version here sounds quite similar to me to Adam's version, so, I don't know. To me, this just seems like a Adamized cover, beautiful of course, but still a regular cover. But YMMV, as always.
Thanks again for your wonderful graphics.
It was my understanding that it was Adam's idea for the slow version of Believe in 2009. And that Adam went to Michael Orland for help in realizing that idea. Nothing that I have seen Michael Orland say on Twitter or elsewhere contradicts this. So it is not surprising that Adam worked on the full version this year. Even if Adam came up with all of the vocals himself, he likely worked with from someone in Ricky Minor's band to refine the vocals in conjunction with the instrumentals. Michael Orland, Adam, and Angie Miller worked together to come up with the arrangement of Titanium Adam and Angie sang as a duet on Idol. It might be a candidate for the list. Or maybe a separate list for Adam duets. I do not think that any of the Queen songs should be in the reworked by Adam list. Even with some tweaking in sections of songs, they are too close to the originals. But a separate list comparing Freddie's live vocals to Adam's would be nice.
