Last thing I'm dying to know or understand!! Does anyone know how he got this gig to sing Cher's song for the Kennedy Center Honors. Not that he doesn't deserve it I'm just wondering. I know Cindi is a big fan of his, do you think Cindi told Cher to watch his few seconds of "Believe" he did on Idol & then Cindi was the one to get her to use Adam to sing the song to Honor her. Did Cher pick him, did the show pick him, did his label & management fight to get him in, it's killing me I really want to know how that worked out.
I'm sooo thankful it did though either way...I'm soooo glad he was able to show the world he's safe, he's amazing, and the most incredibly gifted artist w/ this creative way of being able to twist & change a song & the way he can interpret a song is just unmatched. Besides the incredible range & voice. There is just no live singer today like him. Brian says that a lot too, the way he interprets a song and the way he puts emphasis on certain words to change the entire meaning, it's incredible & such a gift. Just listen to his national anthem, it just means so much more when he sings it, you really feel what the song is about, I don't get that when others sing it, because they put emphasis on the wrong words & it just doesn't feel the same. That is a huge part of why WWTLF is so gut wrenching because the drama he brings by emphasizing certain words & his use of the pause is incredible too, very few singers can be comfortable w/ such long pauses, I've really never seen anyone else do that so well.

His new management are doing a very good job. I like the idea of QAL doing a medley in conjunction with BoRhap.

Looks like he got comp'd the GAGA show & amazing seats & place to stay probably for performing at ParkMGM, I would bet they give them free tics to shows for performing there. The venue gets a lot of $$ & publicity for that & Queen & AL had their choices I'm sure. I'm thrilled for him & thrilled he & Katy Perry got to hang together & he's seen in her crowd a little.
I hope this is the year for Adam, he deserves another #1 hit for sure & a lot of radio play, his time is due. It just bugs me on the radio they'll play any of the top names even if the song is horrible & that just pisses me off. Adam has put out some great songs & the radio won't really play them the way they play other artists.
Would be so amazing if they will have Queen & AL perform a Queen medley of songs @ the Academy Awards & possibly even the Grammys, which would be the most incredible thing ever!! They need to strike while the iron is hot-now's the time to get them on these shows to show the US just how incredible they still are & how incredible Queen's catalog truly is and just how unbelievable of a singer Adam is.

No one knows how Adam got the Kennedy Honors gig. But it is unlikely Cher had anything to do with it as I think the honorees are not told who will be performing. Remember Cher was surprised that Cindi was there. I think the most likely scenario is that Rick Minor, the music director for the Kennedy Center Honors and also for American Idol Adam's year, remembered Adam's rendition of Believe and asked him to do the full song. There are also several other connections who could have recommended Adam including: 1) Alison Iraheta who was an Idol contestant during Adam's year and who was singing backup vocals during the Kennedy Center Honors event. She often sings background vocals for Ricky Minor's band. 2) Cindi, with whom Adam sang a Mad World duet at a fund raiser show she was hosting a few years back. Cindi is a good friend of Cher. 3) Little Big Town, who sang the Gypsies Tramps and Thieves melody at the Kennedy Center Honors. They know Adam from when he sang their Girl Crush song as a duet 3 years ago on the Country Music Awards show.

Missing tweet hereThis is what Shosh said when fans asked how it all came together I can't make out what this tweet is referring to... and hereI only found a tweet by asiladam Shosh also said there would be a new page for Adam with the new music Your two tweets from Shosh did not show up in your post. They were there when I checked BBCode in Quote but when I copy/pasted the URL, it said page not found. Perhaps Shosh deleted them. So it's hard to tell what the @asiladam tweet might mean.

I can still see them on the app... Shosh said that usually they know about a performance and pitch their clients and that the stars aligned. The second tweet was that Adam will telk us about that. (I'm guessing new music, album title, single, release etc.)
