I read a bit through the comments under Adam latest Instagram post. I know, many people post these 2008/2018 comparisons. Only under Adam’s I‘ve seen a lot of comments, who voiced, that they miss or prefer Adam‘s look from 2008. Some like his freckles, some the clean shaven face, some the hair. I just don’t know, how Adam must feel, when he reads these somehow unflattering comments... They aren’t mean, but they tell him indirectly, that they don’t like his current look (as much). Honest opinions - a double-edged sword. Did he delete one of the comments, that he had answered to And that wasn’t too flattering? http://instagr.am/p/Bsn3JSjHj7y EDIT: Just take a look at how much his life has changed in these 10 years. That’s unimaginable. At least for the young Adam from 2008. Agree with your EDIT comment! These are pictures of two different people! One is a bit tentative, a bit unsettled, a bit unsure of himself, longing for something; the other is fiercely confident, full of positive energy and presence! Both are bueatiful in their own way! But it’s well beyond beard or no beard, hair this way or that... After ten years of following Adam, I am still awed by his beauty and his talent and his natural nice-ness. Whatever the hairstyle or the facial fuzz, I love this guy.

If you check in you wanted to know what I thought of "A Very English Scandal." I watched the last episode last night. Loved it. Ben Whishaw deserves every award he has won. He is really good. But just wondering if you know if he has played any non-gay roles and how he did with them? The reason I ask is because he said he wanted to see more gay artists playing straight roles as well. I agree with that. Neil Patrick Harris has done just fine. Matt Bomer, Zachary Quinto, Wentworth Miller are a few who have been convincing in straight roles. And Ricky Martin had a female love interest on one of the soaps years ago. I think Adam could be convincing as well. Would not want to see his opportunities limited. Just don't let him play another student as he did on Glee. Of course with that beard making him look even older that would not be an option anyway, lol.

I just looked at his IMDB page, and wow, he’s been in a lot of movies! And yes, he’s apparently played some straight guys. He was Herman Melville in In the Heart of the Sea, and it looks like some other straight roles. I just saw him in something very recently, but can’t for the life of me remember what it was...

But I watched the movie „Mary Poppins Returns“ last week, where Ben Wishaw played Michael Banks. A widower and father of the 3 kids. I didn’t know him. And I was quite surprised, when I learnt through the discussion in this forum, that he was gay. So, he must have done a good job playing that straight character.

Thanks nightowl and csquared. I thought that might be the case. Had not really heard of him before he was considered for BR and haven't seen any of his other work.

For some reason I am not a big fan of "A Very English Scandal" - Ben Whishaw was great but I did not think Hugh Grant was the best choice for the part. JMHO.
But the mini-series in total is certainly worth watching - and I knew nothing about this scandal before this series. I think Brexit is the only UK politics story to get a lot of coverage in the US in a long time.

It seems like the digital version of the movie leaked somewhere, but here is Adam's part: shelby @queensheebs now who wants to take a ride? This is still really dark and hard to see Adam's expressions. Hope the actual DL or Bluray is lighter. Or maybe dark is just the way it's supposed to look. Adam spoiled me with his IG screen shot. It's probably not a screen shot but a still taken during a take or while setting up lighting etc.
