This should be added to favorite posts. So it’s pretty much everything but the nose you stan. I was going to say lust after considering your first choices, but I’ll be nice and give you the benefit of the doubt that your thoughts are pure (not GOD FORBID, motherly.) My thoughts aren't motherly. I am just one of those people who think the male body is beautiful. When I first got married (hundreds of years ago) I made by husband stop beside the side of the road and we bought a huge portrait for our living room. It was painting on velvet of a naked female and male with beautiful bodies embracing. Looking back I bet I was the laugh of the neighborhood. But there was something so tender and beautiful about those bodies and the way they were holding each other. The picture is long gone but that picture is still in my mind, and I will never forget it or the first years of my marriage. I have never understood my obsession and feelings regarding Adam, but I have some of those same thoughts about Adam. There is something tender and beautiful about him, and that includes his ass, his armpits, and his glambulge. I would love to see him naked. I don't particularly feel lust - I feel like I am beholding something beautiful, like holding a newborn baby or watching a particularly beautiful sunset. It is a feeling in my chest where my heart is. Don't know what you would call that. I call it LOVE. I once said on here that this AFL thing is like falling in love, without the guilt or unrequited aspects. No expectations, just fixation and excitement. I don't mean that in a creepy sense at all. If you've been married as long as I have, it's kind of fun to be obsessing on a beautiful young man. And while I'm at it, please put me on the nose team and any other team that's forming. LOL Especially the whole package team!

It was captioned by someone in twitter (brought here by Lulu2365): As for what was happening - I remember seeing it during the show, and the context wasn't clear. It's at 1:55 of this video. Not sure if it was actually shown on the show. Oh darn, guess I will have to watch again! ;D OMG!!!!!!!!! Adam is just so engaging and articulate! I wish they would have shown more of these comments on the actual show. What Adam said to Anya and Oliver was spot on. Anya could totally understand exactly what Adam was trying to say and Oliver had his usual dead fish look on his face. Oliver was such a weirdo and he couldn't handle the tiniest bit of criticism, even when it was constuctive. I really think Adam sensed Oliver was a fragile person and he was being as positive as possible, while trying to crtique that HOT MESS of an outfit!

I finally got one, too. Did you get the one with the chain or the other one? Just wondering. I got the cord, but I kind of regret that part. I like that black/silver contrast, but I swear this cord is plastic or some bizarre material that seems more plastic than leather, for sure. I think I'm going to buy a different chain for it when I'm out and about. Matt never really bothered me, but I do think he went though some raging jellusies at times with Adam. Can't say I blame him. If I got that far on Idol and came up against that mac truck of talent, I probably would too. I got the cord, too, for the same reason. I thought the chain looked thicker than I like and figured I could always get a new chain or use one of the ones I already have. The talk of Matt takes me back to AI days. I loved when Adam was on TV every week! And all the great interviews afterwards during the AI tour...

Is my typing as bad as my posts look. Are my words being changed after I submit my post or is my typing lousy, or do you have that auto spell that changes words.

So much fun watching this clip of Satisfaction for a couple (well, maybe more) times.
Adam was so manic, I think this was his most manic performance besides Black and White, and Born to be Wild. He was obviously having so much fun, he was loving it! Love the sultry look to the camera, all the big grins as he was singing, the hair flying in his face, the dancing and writhing all over the stage, damn he was so HOT, HAWT, on Fire!
I miss AI8, would love a variety show with Adam doing something different every week.

No spell check that I am aware of, too bad.

Sorry you guys that I am so late with this. I did not mean to stir any controversy but I was enjoying reihmer's BFTP and it included this gif. and Matt's making fun of the fans excitement about seeing Adam just rubbed me the wrong way. His jealousy during AI was so apparent. Hence, Matt is/was such a tool. I think this is just Matt being Matt. Check online and you will find him clowning around doing similar things about Kris' guitar playing, or pretending to be super-manic Allison, etc. He clowned around a lot. Also, I know people have the impression that Matt was jealous of Adam but I do not believe he really was. I think he was talented, young, insecure and not able to connect with a large TV audience. But we never really knew what was going on behind the scenes on Idol. Just what the Producers showed us. Look at Adam. How different would the outcome have been if they showed a clip of Citizen Vein with Adam as frontman vs. Adam theater kid? Look at how Kris was presented -- good Christian singer-songwriter. Rather than out-of-work coffee house musician. They were all presented as cartoon characters. They had little or no contact with fans. They weren't even allowed to have Twitter accounts. And for my last "what if?" Who would have won Idol if Adam had been allowed to 1. Have a Twitter account and 2. Do press interviews. Hard to demonize Adam as the "bad kid" the "dangerous one" if you see him interviewed. He is just too nice. But we never knew that on Idol. It may not have been the story for him, but he told his own story even then. The way he charmed everyone in his audition, the way he interacted with Leila, his body language and his words during his critiques, the way he interacted with Smokey Robinson with such genuine listening, the way he tried to give the others involved credit, the adorable way he was during his song with Allison... It may not have been their story for him, but it was the story that came through to me and was part of the reason I started becoming so interested in him.

I love his hands when he talks. So do I. Just yesterday when I was watching the EP interview for the second time ... WUT? you don't believe me ... OK, maybe tenth twentieth umpteenth time, I was wishing again that I knew how to make gifs because I would love one of just his hand from 1:59 to about 2:05 where he says Svengali situation. So graceful and expressive.
