Hi Guys!!! I've been constantly lurking, but haven't been to vocal lately. Sorry bout that, just didn't want to bring my negative attitude here to all of you. And, I don't mean negative about Adam or anyone here...lol!! Just RL crap & not going there right now. Thank to all who contribute so much here. Wish I could do more, and I'll try to do better. Struggling to get out of this rut right now....and I WILL!!!!!! Awww, I can relate to this. Hopefully you'll post more often which will mean you're in happy place. And since I've broken the envelope tonight (posting envelope - I know I don't make sense sometimes) I watched Adam's BTM again tonight. Well, most of it. I FF'd thru the Idol Finale part. I cannot to this day watch that travesty. Then I hit the AMA part and stopped altogether. There are two things in Adam's journey that I cannot bear to revisit. Idol Finale and AMAs. Says more about me than him, dontcha think? But Adam fix not completely satisfied I watched the Majors and Minors episode I'd DVR'd. Awww, Josh, you lucky boy. I'm not certain how it's going to work but if Josh has Adam as a mentor, how lucky is he?! But back to Adam's BTM, I get a little sad sometimes thinking about his middle/high school days struggling with his identity but then I zoom out and look at every other teen's trials and tribulations and realize if you've got a strong, loving family you'll make it through and Adam had that. Bless his loving parents' hearts. Okay, on a lighter, much more important note in the grand scheme of things, OU just went ahead of Mizzou!!!!! Go Sooners!!!!! |

I have an antique locket that opens with a place to put pictures. Am I a hopeless stan that I now have two pictures of Adam in there instead of my family? One is a picture from the OUT interview with him looking pensive. The other is a picture of Adam with his hand curled next to his face looking too darn cute with emo hair.  We're so far gone. I totally get this. OK, how about this? I have a picture of Adam as the wallpaper on my cell phone. BUT, when my kids are going to be around, I switch the pic to one of my grandkids!!  |

I'm not much of a jewelry person so donated directly to the Trevor Project. After everyone's discussion and reminders on the "last day" (the first last day ;D) I decided to order the necklace and earrings as a gift for my daughter. Now I'm thinking when it comes that I'll keep it! ;D ;D ;D Mine came today just as we were leaving to go someplace. So, I couldn't open it until we got home, about an hour ago! I am sooooo pleased. I ordered the bronze one which looks more gold, to me. I love the size. It is quite a bit smaller than the Eye Of Horus, but I like it this way. I took it off the cord (I think it is plastic) and put it on a silver chain, with the Eye of Horus and also a pendant my daughter gave me for my BD a few years back. The 3 of them look so great together!! |
