Though I have posted here and there, I have been mainly a lurker. So I wanted to greet everyone on this amazing day and say that I was and will always be in love with Adam's Magical Voice.
And I hugely appreciate Q3 and all of you that keep the site running
Much love

My son and his wife (both 35) went to see Bo Rap yesterday. Moderate Queen fans, they said it was really good. Staff told them movies come and go quickly at that theater but Bo Rap was popular and still there after several weeks. I told them to look out for the trucker, of course.
Funny to think that my family has also lived with Adam Lambert for 10 years. They like to tell me news which I already know about (thank you, Atop). My friends also know how important he is to me and ask me for updates.
He's just been pure joy. The ride is a blast, the show is fabulous, the voice is life-giving. ILHSFM.

The first time I saw Adam live was in 2010 in St. Petersburg, FL. It was an unbelievable night! I bought a special camera so I could video tape something. Course I wasn't experienced with it and did shake a little. Haha, I couldn't help it! Afterwards I looked for the fairly well hidden buses and bingo! I was ecstatic at what happened next! www.youtube.com/watch?v=YiTuvmtG_gYwww.youtube.com/watch?v=GlCbgbuPjG0

Like many others, I am here every day, keeping up with Adam news and finding audio/video clips of performances, interviews, etc. that I otherwise would not have known about. What a tremendous all around person/talent we have found and enjoyed all these years.
A quick personal remembrance - not about Adam - but about Adamtopia. For those who haven't known about Adam since the beginning, a popular site called Planet Fierce existed for Adam fans. But it disappeared suddenly, and I couldn't believe how upset I was, not to be able to follow Adam daily. (Yes - withdrawal.) Then I found Adamtopia, and have been here since.
A huge thank you to Q3 for providing this "home" for us all. And, of course, thanks to all the mods and all contributors over the years. I expect to be here ten years from today!

Agree with those who have posted about their ten-year love affair with Adam. Same with me. It's up. It's down. It's eye-opening. It's frustrating. It's a delight in countless ways. We're not just following a singer. We're following a life. And that life has opened my eyes and my heart and given me endless joy.

And I want to know what the "cute" thing is that Shosh is hinting at. Supposed to find out today. I want it all. I want it all. I want it all. And I want it now!

Coming out of mostly lurking to say how much I appreciate Q3 for sponsoring Atop and to everyone who supports it. Like many, I don't post as often as I used to but check in daily.
I found Adam on American Idol and he was such a source of joy after experiencing three major losses in my life. Today is the 10 year anniversary of my first time seeing Adam live (almost, as it was July 20, 2009). It was at the Idol tour in Glendale, Arizona. It was to be the first of many trips. I had interviewed and was selected for a new, amazing job and when my to-be-boss asked how soon I could start I told him that it would have to be after my trip to Arizona. Him: what will you be doing in Arizona? Me: seeing Adam Lambert on the American Idol tour. Him: huh?
It has been a GREAT 10 years. Here's to the next 10!

Some might note the 'pf' following Adam fan user names on Twitter, etc. That 'pf' is for Planet Fierce so we could identify each other, as if completely over the top fan-girling wasn't enough. Lol. Every now and then I get a reminder of those days and that place; for instance just a couple of days ago this reaction video was posted. I have pegged it to the moment that sent me back to Planet Fierce and a moniker that has not faded with time. Thanks, also, to Q3 for reforming our fan community when the Planet Fierce board disappeared. I am one of the original Atop members but haven't posted much the last 3 years except for "Believe." I quit teaching school music and become self-employed teaching music lessons, plus more with the orchestra I play in. It's been a challenge but now am on my feet, and it is nice to check in with Atop more frequently.
Thanks to all of you for keeping the news and discussion flowing.

I migrated from the Idol board, to MJs, followed to Planet Fierce and then poof! Thanks again to everyone who makes this place special.
