DancyGeorgia I was gobsmacked as well, when I saw Ashley on stage with Cher performing SOS to promote her abba cover album...i think i posted about it here In case anyone is still doubting Adams impact on pop...here an example of how the x factor tryed to recreate his mad world performanc... They didn't even TRY to hide that they were out of ideas 🤣 Thanks to metislight for pointing the performance out to me youtu.be/WwfNexdaIdUAnd don't get me started on how judges reuse phrases when they critique a contestant...i didn't see much og xf uk, but alot reminded mevof what I've heard on American idol with kelly and Adam Ha! I remember that. Since Simon was as judge on XF UK and he was the one who gave Adam and Standing ovation on Idol for Mad World it seemed intentional and too obvious. But it was odd that they did not even try to make it look different. |

Just a heads up, someone on facebook has had their Ticketmaster a/c hacked and their QAL ticket electronically transferred to a buyer. Anyone with electronic tickets stored should check their a/c and change passwords.
This is the ticket just in case anyone gets offered it:-
SEC 5, ROW B, SEAT 5
Aug. 22 at State Farm Arena/Atlanta, Ga. I had my credit card hacked when buying QAL tickets from Ticket Master last year. The thief took over 1500€. Got the money back, but it took months. petrajo, It happened to me too.  |

Adam just started following on IG several old contestants from Idol. Two Chris Daughtry accounts, a Blake Lewis and Elliott Yamin. Hmm. Reckon they might be planning some kind of appearance on Idol this season.....I was thinking would be great for Adam to sing a new song release in April/May.

Ha! Good point. The one thing I have always loved is that they could always find another WGWG on the shows that were similar to each other. But with all the buzz with Adam, they could never find another Adam Lambert no matter how hard they tried. Some tried to make the link with Durbin but it quickly became obvious that it was a big miss. Then a few tried to link Ada but that was an even bigger miss cause Ada was so not a sexy and gorgeous rock star. So Adam is not the most successful Idol (tho one of the major success stories) but he still remains the one who is the most unique and stood out more than any others even today. Love that. |
