Watch James Corden and Adam Lambert recap the Patriots’ win over the Chiefs trib.al/9oECFgh
The duet referenced Bill Belichick's "super grump" demeanor.
Adam Lambert stopped by the Late Late Show with James Corden on Sunday, where he joined the host for a rendition of Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now.” The lyrics for their version recapped the AFC Championship between the Patriots and Chiefs.
Lambert and Corden’s “The Show’s Ending Now” began with Corden crooning at a piano, before the Grammy-nominated singer and former American Idol contestant continued the passionate summary of the game.
“Pats took an early lead yeah/Established the run, and Brady kept the offense on the field,” Corden sang. “Til Kansas City took the wheel/And made it such a super special showdown for you.”

The pair pointed to the controversial punt that officials determined never made contact with Julian Edelman.
“And the punt that went to Edelman,” Lambert belted. “Did the ball touch his thumb?”
As the song reached a crescendo, the on-stage curtains parted to reveal a football goal post and a crowd of cheerleading dancers. Corden acknowledged famously taciturn Bill Belichick in one of the final lines, wondering why a ninth Super Bowl appearance as the Patriots head coach wasn’t enough to coax a smile.
“Belichick was super grumpy,” the host noted. “You’d think he would smile.”
Perhaps Tom Brady will follow Gisele Bundchen’s lead and tag along with Corden to a toddler dance fitness class if the Patriots emerge victorious on Dec. 3.
