So happy for Rami he was fantastic. I watched Rent and was floored at how great the cast was. I saw musical on Broadway saw the movie a few times and this to me was the best production. Amazed that it was on tv. Had gay lovers aids kissing. Drag. They had a notice ahead about content. When I think of what Adam went through for a kiss on tv. Well honey have times changed. Hope Adam gets recognized some day for helping to break that glass ceiling Really? I thought there was some really, really weak links in the casting. Mimi, Joanne and Angel were the weakest. And Rent needs a strong Angel. I do feel bad they had to air dress rehearsal up until the end due to Roger’s injury. Rent Live from Broadway in 2008 , while not the originals was far superior acting and energy and a better production. (It’s on YouTube) Most of tonight’s cast didn’t seem to have a connection to the characters they were playing at all. Eden Espinosa is Maureen in that cast I have to agree with some of what you said.. Important to me.. that this work with It's diversity was on TV and i haven't heard an outcry.(. Adam kisse a fella and for one year there was outrage and some still don't forgive him.. This musical all about love in all It's forms and colors & nobody seems to be bothered.. On Broadway and in movies no problem, on FOX revolutionary progress . I caught the essence of the musical.. Infact when my Husband and I left the theater in NYC ,Outside folks were pretty much like the cast of RENT.. LOL I just loved that love is love and nobody blinked.

I don’t recall Rami ever mentioning Adam. Rami has seen several QALs - I sat within feet of him at two concerts and could see him having a great time. Yet..i’ve not seen even a passing reference to Adam. Rami would undoubtedly be aware of the Marc Martel fans antagonism towards Adam. (Edit: referencing Rami’s super-enthusiastic praise of Marc last night) Adam saw the film and praised Rami effusively. Rami saw Adam perform in concert with Queen several times and... Given his relationship with Brian and Roger I would have thought it a simple professional courtesy for Rami to reference their tour and chosen frontman. It’s what social media is all about. I am obviously bitter and twisted. Very happy to be told I am wrong and that Rami has said nice things I’ve missed. (and yes, I know the world doesn’t revolve around Adam and the film was about Freddie - not my point ) I feel EXACTLY the same way. I have never heard Rami say anything nice about Adam. But when I suggested something similar about a band mate who NEVER acknowledged Adam, I really got attacked here. Even random musicians who work with Adam once say something nice about him.

He should be a household name. Having said that, to me the movie is completely separate from Adam Lambert, despite his fun little cameo. The movie is also entirely separate from the current QAL show. The movie is about Freddie, and the evolution of Queen over 30 years ago. Commenting on the current performances of Adam with Queen makes no sense to me in the context of the movie. As to who comments on Adam, is there the assumption that if we don't read a tweet, instagram or interview quote that a person has not made comment about Adam? Could it be it just didn't make the edit for the article? Could it be that a comment was made and missed? Could it be that raving about Adam goes without saying? Could it be that Rami is not all that interested in or knowledgeable about vocal prowess? Yes, we want the world to fall at Adam's feet. But, I think he is doing very well as it is. And gorgeous, sexy, vocal god Adam would be all kinds of wrong for the role of Freddie in the movie.

As Brian even said, to paraphrase, sometimes I take Adam's voice for granted...sometimes. I don't think Adam has any worries ,he is getting more and more known by the day..I find him very much appreciated for his major talent Just look at all the press he got for' Believe' among other well noted performances.. From time to time I forget how successful and well known and loved Adam is around the world. He is truly one lucky talented guy to have climbed that ladder to the stars...one in a million

I feel kind of the same way. Adam doesn't seem to be on Rami's Queen-radar at all. I do think at least a brief mention of QAL would have been courteous of Rami. That being said, I like Rami. Never saw Mr. Robot or anything, but he apparently made a hit out of it. Playing Freddie is his real breakthrough role. I see big things coming for Rami. Did I miss something? I was under the impression that the movie primarily used Freddie's actual voice for most of the singing, and a little of Marc Martel, but not much. Please correct me if I misunderstood. I guess if I was a Marc fan, I'd want a lot of attention to be pointed at him. But I thought most of the singing we heard was Freddie's own voice. And also, this whole discussion about competing allegiances to Marc, Adam, Rami and who should play whom and who sounds more like whom and who is "better," etc. is really kind of annoying me but it's totally what fans do: support their favorite artist against all others. I think the choices that were made all around were the right ones. Marc for Queen Extravaganza: best choice. Rami as Freddie for the film: best choice. Adam as frontman for the actual band: best choice by far. The rest is just fan craziness which turns into ugliness at times. I am sometimes guilty of feeling some animosity toward someone from time to time. It's just human. Like I said, I kind of wish Rami had at least mentioned Adam's name ONCE, especially in light of the fact that Adam has praised Rami very generously.

So happy for Rami! Don’t know if it’s sour grapes or because I mistakenly went on some performance of his and read some vituperative comments regarding Adam that were as bad as the hard-line Queenies were at first, but if I hadn’t had to suffer hearing Marc Martel’s name mentioned, I would have been far happier. And I know that Marc didn’t write those comments, so I’ll have to stay away from any and all of his performances and change my attitude about him if I can. I’ve been having to do lots of skimming these past several weeks, so forgive me if this has been answered, but do Adam and Javi live together? I saw the recent small get together that Javi had at Adam’s house and realized I didn’t know. Doesn’t truly matter, but I just was curious. Thanks. Getting into the comment sections of anything Queen related can be toxic, and it seems that MM fans don't really like Adam. Ah well. Wonder why... I try to avoid those forums. Javi... from what I've been gathering, he has his own apartment. But he also appears to take care of Pharaoh during Adam's absence. And "naturally", he seems to spend a good chunk of time at Adam's. That's all I know, but I am not an expert. Anybody, feel free to correct me if I say something wrong. Well, Marc isn't fronting for Queen so I guess that's why Marc fans don't like Adam. Seems simple. I guess they can't see the obvious inappropriate creepiness of having a Freddie look-a-like sound-a-like performing right up there with Brian and Roger. Yuck.

Rami doesn't do hardly any social media. 3 instagram posts in his life, maybe 10 twitter posts in the last year. For others it may not a comfortable feeling to be expected to kiss up to your boss at any random time on your own personal media pages.

As SophieB suggested and girldrummer said, "Like I said, I kind of wish Rami had at least mentioned Adam's name ONCE, especially in light of the fact that Adam has praised Rami very generously." Wasn't suggesting kissing up to anyone.
