Another PR review. www.projectqatlanta.com/news_articles/view/runway_recap_only_glambert_rocks_menswear?gid=9233"Oh the crap they weave when “Project Runway” practices to achieve men’s fashion. Throw in a rocker twist, and the designers are screwed. Guest judge Adam Lambert is the only person with a clue." "Lambert and the band member victims are the only people on the runway who seem to understand the challenge, and it’s not like there are rocker-vibe contestants this year who could work it out like past winners Seth Aaron Henderson or Jeffrey Sebelia." More AFL love.

Yesterday, after talking about "Idolatry," I went to play around in the AMAZING archive that 4Msrmyn has created. I read and watched some of the shows from earlier in the season that was before I discovered Slezak. Of course, some of his early criticism is straight out of the "The Jaded AI Watchers' Guide to the Universe," with the "producer's favorite," and "pimp spot" buzz words, but as the season went on, their perception of Adam as a gutsy performer, incredible vocalist and all-around nice guy came through. This one is particularly relevant to our discussion today. First and third vids have lots of BTBW footage and Adam discussion. For thread: atop.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=idolpreformances&action=display&thread=23&page=26For vid: link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid21813058001?bckey=AQ~~,AAAAAA0Xi_s~,r1xMuE8k5NyNjEyUQDF4ONqCvUF18WRh&bclid=21900654001&bctid=20254113001 Damn you, Susie! I am Down the Rabbit Hole now (again!) See you all in a few hours! ;D MyS*&@^#r: I'm getting sucked right in there with you. Party in the rabbit hole! Susie is hosting. Gelly: Thanks for that article! I love all the things you find and bring here for our entertainment! NoAngel: I love the way you think, seriously.

I can't believe I have NEVER seen that before, I am a bad fan! Loved it, Adam is smokin hot!!!! And the bit by Sara hillarious and very well received by the audience, IMO. Thanks for posting, Gelly! Bad fan or good fan , isn't it wonderful to find such a pearl after you thought you'd seen it all? And yeah, he looks DAMN good in this video!! Yes, it is more than wonderful! I have seen quite a few things here in the last week that I haven't seen before, and I have been here since the PF (R.I.P.) days! However, as mys*&@^#r50 just said: Damn you, Susie! I am Down the Rabbit Hole now (again!) See you all in a few hours! I've been down the rabbit hole for a week now. [glow=red,2,300]HELP!!!! I need an intervention! [/glow] Would one of the mods please kick me off this site? Adam is so addicting! Seriously, I have spent way too many hours here, I have a lot of other stuff I need to do, but can't seem to pull myself away. Afraid I am hopelessly pitiful to the Nth degree.....

blog.chron.com/tubular/2011/09/projects-runway-music-fashion-and-glambert/Projects Runway: Music, fashion and Glambert i1125.photobucket.com/albums/l597/gelly414/ATOP/proje7550.jpgTwo things about this week’s episode. It was a smart move to have the contestants design for a rock band, because most of them will likely go on to dress celebrities. The contestants must create looks for the Sheepdogs, an unsigned band recently featured on the cover of Rolling Stone. They’re split into two teams of four, and each designer is responsible for one band member. BUT. Featuring Adam Lambert on the same episode — which I am all for, by the way — might have taken some of the attention away from the challenge. I say this because GLAMBERTS ARE POWERFUL, Y’ALL. They buzzed about it online days earlier and all through the episode. Plus, Lambert’s observations were smart and funny. Why not feature him more prominently, perhaps as a challenge? IMAGINE THE GLITTER. Read more... The guy that wrote this article, Joey Guerra is a full blown card carrying Glambert! He gave Adam a great review on the GNT in Houston last year, and also actually organized a party to interview Glamberts before the concert. He was supposed to show up for our party at the Hard Rock Cafe, but didn't. (SEE Houston GNT thread at: atop.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fyeperformances&action=display&thread=201if you're interested in reading more about Joey's articles on Adam. mahailia Thank you for the link! I loved his recap! This guy gets him! I loved that he wrote: "This isn't just screaming, as some folks would like you to believe. If it was, more people would be doing it."Just tell to the other people Joey...

No, my friend, there are limits to my ~powers. Once someone has fallen down the rabbit hole, it is up to them to pull themselves back out. Maybe try clicking your heels three times: "There's no place like real life... there's no place like real life... there's no place like real life..." Lemme know how that works out for ya!

Thanks, NoAngel, you really cracked me up! I don't really want to be modded out of here. Also, great article today, you are a brilliant writer, we are lucky that you take the time to share your thoughts and insights with us. One of the reasons Atop is so much fun is because of the brilliance of the thoughts that flow here and also the incredibly deep parts of the shallow end.
I really must go now! Yall have fun!

I think there are a few of us now fighting for the role of President of the Hopelessly Pitiful Team Do you remember the scene from Notting Hill, where whoever convinces the others he's the most pathetic one in the group, gets the last brownie?...
