Was that in the aftermath of "Rent"?

@mje4peace: Screen caps from NBC ad for Elvis tribute feat @adamlambert ... "See an historic television event when the biggest names in music take the same stage to sing the hits made famous by a musical legend … Elvis, an all-star tribute." Pics bit blurry but you get the gist. @talcvids twitter.com/MJE4Peace/status/1092627698923507713

I Thought this was a cool tweet about Bohemian Rhapsody from Mindy Kaling. She has 11mill followers. twitter.com/mindykaling/status/1091946991804805121Seeing were on the SB and Lambert/Levine thing. I Wonder the pros and cons Hypothetically for Adams career if NFL ever approached him or Queen? Their are pitfalls to it, as Levine found out. Reputation can take a dive. But then again, he had 90 million people roughly watching him do his thing. Big exposure to his brand and his music. Regardless if he is your taste or not (He is not, too bland for my liking). Queen and Adam Lambert doing the SB has been thrown around for A few years now since 2011. But I think with the mainstream success of Bohemian Rhapsody. Queen have never been bigger. I still think for NFL to even consider QAL. IT is Adam to me who needs a big year. I Think his LP needs to blow up. A Few #1 Hits would suffice. And I could see a multi act show. With Muse, Foo Fighters, and Gaga and Perry. But it is an interesting discussion.

It may take a while but I think $900 million will happen because it is becoming an event movie -- meaning midnight shows and sing-along concerts.
for Roger and Brian who really never seem to give up.

On the SB Halftime Show -- I have keep quiet for two days cause I thought it was sooooooooooooooo boring it was not worth posting about.
But I think that they should just have QAL do it. The now obligatory gospel choir would make sense on STL, they could have marching bands do WWRY -- like 20 bands in mass, they have the best closing song ever WATC, they can work in some funk artists on ABTD (Nile Rogers and Chic since it is based on a Chic riff), etc. etc. I could go for a mass drum battle. And some astro stuff for Brian.
And seriously who wouldn't love a live BoRhap in a packed stadium with a huge production?!?!

I'll throw my hat in the ring for a SB QAL show. But I think they are good and exciting enough to carry such a short show on their own. If Gaga and Timberlake could do it, I'm sure Queen and Adam could get people excited enough not to be bored. They have so many big hits that people would be delighted to hear them, imo. Would not like to see any Beyonce or Gaga types trying to steal the show as Beyonce and Bruno did to Coldplay. Coldplay should have just stayed home as they seemed like the side show. And please no rappers either.

Adam's having to share billing with John Legend....grrr....he's everywhere. Legend is the new Voice coach on NBC. NBC sticks Blake, Legend and Kelly Clarkson in almost everything they do on NBC. Surprised they even let Adam share the billing with him. I still can't get over them giving Blake 4 songs to sing on the show. Wish they had given Adam one more to sing, lol. Still wonder why Kelly didn't manage to get in on this.
