From AZGlamFan:
@alikat_56 The multiple hugs were better than the wink! Love Adam always! : )))
I share because of my enthusiasm/love for Adam. To the many who said thanks, you're welcome. To few whose claws came out, feel sorry 4 U
@borneobaby Thx! Long story how we ended up there! #Destiny
She has met Adam on more than a few occasions, I believe. She has the financial freedom to go to a lot of things. He knows her. (And hugged her more than once, apparently.)
This is what he does. Everyone with a job that involves rubbing elbows usually gets quite adept at it very quickly. He is a person. Fans are people. Because they admire his talent doesn't mean they become second-class citizens who are not deigned worthy to speak to him. I attend tons of these type of events and it is assumed that half the people there are tweeting out the information. It's encouraged. It's free press for the event and the cause.

I enjoyed all of AZGlamFan pictures. She seemed to fit in nicely with the crowd. Glad a fan was able to go. I am sure Adam was expecting there would be some there.
There are different “rules” for different events. I dont think she went over the line. Possible when Adam told her “you need to breathe” that might have been a small hint...but overall he probably enjoyed her excitement. JS
ETA: :( AZGlamFanJulie Heading to Vegas next and will think about if I'm going to share the rest of the pics, etc...

This was a perfect event for a fan to attend: great cause, relaxed atmosphere (helped by vodka), a couple of hours in Adam's presence, no time limit on talking to him, many people in our age group ( no feeling out of place). It is a public event, advertised, photographed and promoted. WIN, WIN, WIN. I am thankful for the tweets. P.S. the PFLAG person even said "may be some of you will join [PFLAG] as a result of this event". This tells me that they were well aware of fans attending...

Obviously everyone has a different opinion and really it's just where your line is...but sometimes, just because you can doesn't mean you should...JMO. But true once they opened it to the public it was inevitable. And he really is a master of saying nothing. Just wondering...why shouldn't a fan attend a public event? What are the negatives here? It was an event that was made open to the public. I'm VERY uncomforble with the stalking behavior, such as sneaking into video shoots or sitting at Adam's table at a small show, but this was an event that had tickets for sale. Was anyone overstepping the boundaries?

In their acceptance speeches, both Adam and Leila recounted their “easy” experience with Adam’s coming out, but noted that often times other gay kids and families don’t have it as easy as they did and that’s where an organization like PFLAG really helps. “I am incredibly honored, I’m incredibly proud. I have an amazing kid,” a doting Leila said of the honor and her Grammy-nominated son during her acceptance speech. Adam was equally as proud of his mom. “It’s really exciting to be here tonight. Thank you guys so much for honoring my mother,” he said. click to read more..... --------------------------------------------------------------------------- @ontopmag Adam Lambert Says Mom Did Cartwheels When He Came Out Gay bit.ly/qC20igwww.ontopmag.com/article.aspx?id=9611&MediaType=1&Category=22Adam Lambert Says Mom Did Cartwheels When He Came Out Gay By On Top Magazine Staff Published: September 26, 2011Rocker Adam Lambert says his mother practically did cartwheels when he came out gay. hmm.....fans attend private event honoring his mother - then proceed to pic-stalk the guy and post/tweet private convos. Am I only one who finds this behavior objectionable? ??? It was my impression that the photos and videos were taken and shared by the organization, not the fans. I thought all they did was tweet?

Obviously everyone has a different opinion and really it's just where your line is...but sometimes, just because you can doesn't mean you should...JMO. But true once they opened it to the public it was inevitable. And he really is a master of saying nothing. It was not like they would have followed him to a bathroom or taped him in secret, or not left him alone for the whole night. Even though it was held in a private setting, it was a public event. Based on twitter, I'll say that the fan encounters went great. And we don't know, maybe there were encounters and conversations with fans that were kept from us as a guest decided that matter to be private. (of course that doesn't count out the possibility that there could have been a stalker-tinhatter among the fan guests, but that's just the risk Adam has to take if he plans to attend to events where paid guests get this close.) ETA: Of course if you have an actual tattoo of Adam's signature in your arm, for heaven's sake DON't SHOE IT TO HIM.
