This has been bugging me since I saw it....this quote says Adam's first album " initially outsold his season's winner, Kris Allen"...as if Kris surpassed him later????? I noticed that, too. I think it's just badly worded. I am 100% certain that Kris's sales aren't even close to Adam's. |

What kind of dog is that Zinnia? Thanks to everyone for your positive thoughts about Shadow. I'm convinced they helped. He is a Shetland Sheepdog (English type) and he does have legs too - see my avi :D. gelly - thanks  . |

Thanks for the delurking welcome! Actually, I've been around for a long time -- followed you all from MJs to PF to Adamtopia to Atop. Whew! Lots of moving! Wish I could really delurk, but work intrudes and I just don't have time other than to pop in once a day or so. I really enjoy all your posts though. Atop is definitely one of the best sites for intelligent and fun Adam conversation! Yes, gelly 14, thanks for asking. I've seen Adam live 3 times -- once in San Diego and twice in Honolulu, all highlights of my 2010 year other than welcoming my first grandchild  Hopefully one of these days I'll have more time to spend at Atop. Just a question for the thread:I confess I'm a bit of a nut for high quality in videos: I was one of the first DVD enthusiasts (bye bye, horrible VHS quality!) and now I'm addicted to High Definition Blu Rays. I know of at leat two friends of mine who aren't buying DVDs anymore, and prefer to wait for a Blu Ray edition even when one isn't immediately made available. The question for the thread is: why do you think there wasn't a blu ray edition of the GN DVD, and do you think it will hurt its sales? Basically Blu Ray disc sales share is too low -- player sales are up to 14% of US market, but that is deceptive because most people already have at least 1 DVD play --- must US households have more than one DVD Forecast is that digital video will replace physical media in most markets by 2015-2017 anyway. The bandwidth is being expanded rapidly to make HQ downloads of massive files practical in most of North American, Western Europe and many parts of Asia-Pacific. Feb 25, 2011: The results and analysis for Blu-ray (and DVD) sales for the week ending 12th February 2011 has just been posted. Blu-ray market share recorded its lowest result in mid-November of 2010, as the best selling titles on all discs (both Blu-ray and DVD, combined) all recorded fairly low Blu-ray market share results. Paranormal Activity 2 was the week's top selling Blu-ray title.

I was at the Indy concert and have 6 videos I put on YouTube, however, the original recordings are much better and I think the audio is very good. sugaree - that's wonderful news about Shadow; I know it's been a long haul but everything has turned out perfectly!
zinnia - your dog is gorgeous!! Makes me wish I could reach out and pet him!
Cannot get enough of the SW from the concert DVD! Hope we get some songs like this on Adam #2!
