Every time Adam puts his hand down his pants I turn into a 28-year old wild child. Where was he when I was 28? I would have begged him to let me work for him. I was a great Executive Administration Assistant with accounting.. GET IT THE LINE!!!!! EVERYONE OF US WANTS TO WORK FOR ADAM FOR FREE!! HAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!!!

Monterrific Done 6 minutes ago via Twitter for iPhone Monte and Lisa are such an open book it cracks me up! Yeah, me too! Originally I wondered, if Lisa had posted the info on Monte's vasectomy without his consent..... but obviously not. LOL.

Haven't read the whole thread yet but I need some HELP! I'm sitting right here in the good ol' USofA, but I can watch any of the sleepwalker vids. The youtube someone just posted says "this video contains content from Sony Music Entertainment. It is not available in your country. Sorry about that." Huh? Why can't I see these? Have I somehow managed to switch the country-setting on my computer or something? I have an Apple MacBook. Can I switch it back? Anyone know?
Otherwise, I see people are discussing James Durbin's possible Aspergers. I haven't watched Idol, and have only seen a couple of clips of James posted here, but I had the same impression as Q3--if he indeed has Aspergers he seems to be very high functioning. I was friendly with a guy in high school who told me he'd been diagnosed (rightly or wrongly) with Aspergers. Obviously this is just one example, and I'm sure there's a huge range, but he was very very awkward--I couldn't really have been more than "friendly" with him. He missed all social cues, clearly had no sense of how others perceived him, didn't seem to have "normal" emotional reactions to things (he'd get intensely angry quite quickly.) He was a very sweet kid, but he'd obsess publicly over a variety of things that weren't really socially appropriate, even in high school (in his case it was muscles), and that made him the brunt of a lot of unfriendly joking. It was very hard for him.
If James does indeed have a milder version of this disorder, then I am very impressed with his putting himself in so socially stressful a situation, and hope people give a lot of leeway to his seemingly unfriendly or socially blind comments. But he's miles better socialized than my old high school buddy. Still, the comparisons to Adam seem a little cruel, even if he does have a remarkable range under all that mess, and I hope Idol doesn't exploit them too much at his expense.
OH, and sugaree--YAY about Shadow!! So happy.
ETA: caught up on thread--gee, I get a little creeped out by the idea of Idol manipulating James into highlighting his diagnoses and his "victim-hood" more than he naturally would. All kinds of morally skeezy, and I'm not sure it'll help him in the long run.

I'm posting an excerpt here from a column of *gasp* John Moser's review of the top 24 on Idol. He mentions Adam briefly in his critique of James Durbin - surprise, surprise - but the real reason I'm posting this is for the following paragraph: What does that tell you about Mr. John Moser and his dislike of Adam? I'm not posting the link here but I will post it in the Members Only AI thread if you want to read the entire thing. (I agree with most of what he said strangely enough, although not about Jacob Lusk.) ETA: sugaree - so happy about Shadow!!
