I don't get the hate for Heidi's interview here? IDK, I thought they came across as comfortable and playful with each other and I thought Heidi was sweet and friendly and asking casual questions. I certainly didn't read any ill intent in her attitude or questioning and I am wondering if some people are projecting here? Not everyone is out to get/insult/hurt Adam...ikd idk. I'll leave it at that and leave you to your own opinions on the matter. I agree with this. I watched it again this morning and she basically said that he had great hair, piercing wolf eyes, and a "lucky" rockin' body. Also she agreed not to tell Rick Owens that Adam intended to knock-off some of his older style platform boots. LOL. ETA - Happy Birthday ilovehawaiian!

Happy B-day ilovehawaian!!!!!!! Heidi and Adam- I think they seemed comfortable and friendly and that Heidi thought Adam was beautiful and had a nice build. It seemed to be like two fashion/model/in the public eye for their striking looks people talking together, and like she was asking him questions she was interested in because of her own experience with that kind of celebrity. How do you feel about people expecting you to be beautiful all of the time? is it a pressure? Do you have to exercise to keep the weight off? And during the questions she said twice that he looked like he "was lucky" with his weight and during the make up question the underlying assumption was that he was beautiful. She also had her arm around him, touched his hair, and picked up his leg so ddnt feel standoffish to me. The troll- Elton never being out there with his fashion? HA Adam is being Adam. He will never box himself into one character, LOL. And I don't want him to. He will keep people talking. The pic- just fierce posing. Funny...not to be taken seriously. Off to work.

Without telling people what to think etc and not having a direct line to Adam's thoughts...... I believe that this doing what he wants, when, where and how he wants is Adam keeping it real. After all that is partially why we stan him. Isn't it?? ETA Chunkey and Aspen are much more elequent than me ITA. ETA2 Get me using ETA correctly lol. : Pls don't get me wrong. As I said the pic was OK for me.I love Adam as he is. My point was the pic perhaps gave unnecesseraly fuel to those trolls. Bobo I can see exactly what you mean. I know I have had the "Oh that doesn't look good, somebody is going to take offence" moment and I have cringed waiting for the snotty/offended/trollish comments. Then realised, as everyone will at some point, I can't force anyone to change their opinions, much as I would like to and I just have to let them get on with it. The people that don't "like" him are not going to be swayed with logic. To paraphrase "Give me the strength to change what I can and ignore what I can't". Adam is a smart man and at the end of the day he will prevail - resistance is futile after all.

You covered a significant amount of ground in a couple of paragraphs. I need to learn how to do this.

I looked for the fan vid "Straight to No. 1", which most of you are probably familiar with : , and got this message (translated from Hebrew): "This video has been removed because its content violated YouTube's terms and restrictions". Does anyone know what this is about? youtu.be/LI7ZBRGjPvkNo, but here it is Haha, that was quick, thanks! Still bugs me though, how did this vid violate anything.

The end when they grab each other's hands and almost look like the are going to arm wrestle! LOL! I think that interview is adorable!

Bringing this over from yesterday's thread to respond...Irish, I saw the pics Adam took are totally fine. Since me and Adam are from the same age group--we are only a few months apart in age really--I can say that this kind of picture posing is totally normal. I can't speak for the gay community, but it's def not uncommon to go out to ANY BAR and take pics and look all wild and crazy. IMO there is nothing wrong or scandalous or disrespectful to Sauli about it. They are just hamming and glamming it up for the camera and trying to look fierce. It's not like they are making out or anything, It's just a pic, and if their crotches seem to be touching--lol--then oh well. My boobs have inadvertently touched other ppl while taking pics, and that don't mean shit haha. . Thanks Chunkey. I trust your observations and input. It is hard to express an opinion or ask for help in understanding something that is puzzling to me on this site. Someone turned it into infidelity on Adam's part which never entered my mind at all. Someone called me a slut because I posted four times trying to explain my position. Someone accused me of being a jealous person. It is hard to make oneself understood since everyone interprets words differently. When I saw the picture, I just immediately thought of Sauli. I am a former wild child now grown into a grandmother. I only have what I discovered during my life as a frame of reference. In my day (hundreds of years ago) if my lover/husband/date took a picture with his penis in some girl's crotch I would have felt like a fool. It has nothing to do with jealousy. It has to do with what is good for the goose is good for the gander. I don't think my lover/husband/date would have liked it if I snuggled up to someone and put my crotch on his penis and took a picture. It was just common courtesy in my day that when you were in a monogomous (sp.) relationship certain boundaries were honored. I also stated that I was now a very unhip old lady, and I know times have changed so I wanted to get input from someone younger. I was looking through the eyes of an old lady. Chunky, you are younger and I think your observations for the most part have been right on and I value your input. It is not as big a deal as some have made it. I was mostly wondering how Sauli felt. It must be hard to be the King's boyfriend in a strange country. I don't want him to feel bad, and I felt bad for him. That was all it was. I know Adam is on stage 90% of the time because he has to be. He has no privacy.

I'll leave it at that and leave you to your own opinions on the matter. I agree - I thought they seemed very comfortable and playful with each other. Also, maybe if enough super-models tell Adam how fit and good he looks he will eventually believe it! ITA with Chunkey, rihannasu and so many others. I was gone during the therapy session last night (boo!) and didn't see anything but playful vamping for camera as Adam has done with his friends for years and I didn't perceive anything snippy about Heidi's demeanor. She's a little stilted, perhaps, but seems like her personality. I did eyeroll the makeup question when she tweeted it because it's a beyond stale comment. I did want to address THIS though: I don't necessarily think Adam doesn't believe it. What he wore on stage in Russia and Canada show he knows he can rock some tight pants and clothes. But having lived in Hollywood in my late teens and early 20s, I know a bit of the way the culture plays with your head. I was 5'9" and weighed about 115-120 when I was in my Freshman to Junior years in college and used to dance several hours a day. I was in great shape (as opposed to now, lol) and used to get complimented quite a bit. I knew A LOT of aspiring models and actresses and saw the same dynamic with them consistently. They were stunning, rail thin and often VERY INSECURE. The compliments become addictive to the point that if a day goes by that someone doesn't comment on how great you look, you begin doubting yourself. Intellectually you KNOW you haven't changed since yesterday, but emotionally you compare yourself to others, etc. It's a major head game. (And no, just because you have a SO, etc. telling you so isn't going to erase that insecurity; they're like your mom, they have to say that ) I think 90 percent of Adam is the HBIC, fierce, confident man we see in every interview, photo, on stage ... but he will always have that 10 percent (which is probably vastly less than the general population, as evidenced by what people divulged last night) that either deflects the compliment or compares himself to others. That may never go away, but I really don't think he feels "insecure" for the most part, per se. Everyone has their moments, of course, but I think he does feel confident in his looks most of the time. If he didn't, he wouldn't bring more attention to them by playing with all types of different looks and styles. He's amplifying, not hiding. If he wanted to just "blend in," he'd try to downplay his looks as much as possible, which we all know, he does not do.
